This cozy apartment is located just a few minutes walk from historic Taos Plaza. A cool and colorful central courtyard with splashing fountain has earned this complex the name of 'Oasis of Taos.' Step inside and you'll find a comfortable retreat where you will quickly slip into the relaxed rhythm of this very special town. Stayed here 2 nights in July. This place was very clean and quiet. Close to everything in town. Good parking. We will be back.
Visited Taos in early May and stayed at Donna's charming condo.
Arrival information was sent in advance and the directions were easy and clear. The space was bright, colorful and extremely clean. It's very close to the square, galleries and all the other delights Taos has to offer.
Donna was easy to work with and we would certainly stay at her piece of paradise again, should we be in the area. Thanks Donna!
This is a great little place close to the plaza but relatively quiet and off the beaten path. The condo has everything you need (I would recommend adding a cutting board- couldn't find one) and is spacious and very clean and well kept up. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
I rented for the entire winter and had a great time. Used it to ski at Taos Ski Valley which was perfect for me. Everything worked as advertised, and the place is really close to all in Taos, from Taos Plaza, shopping, dining, and many galleries. Food shopping is less than a block away which was very convenient. I'll definitely stay again if I'm ever in Taos, and strongly recommend the place for anyone spending time in Taos. I'ts perfect for 1 person or a couple.
LOVED the place
Quiet and peaceful, right in town, easy walk to historic Taos Plaza. Unit was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.
My wife and I stayed here in early December....what a nice place!! Very clean and all the amenities one could really want. The bed was very comfortable too!! The owner was really generous with her time - getting us situated - and allowing our two dogs to stay (that is mandatory for us). Super quiet - actually the only person we even saw was a guy shoveling snow. It's only two blocks from the grocery store and about ten to the square - easy walking. We'll be back!!!
Taos, a small town nestled in the mountains of northern New Mexico is rich in history and culture. The elevation ensures cool summers and reliable snow. Taos Pueblo is less than 3 miles from the plaza. Artists have long been drawn by the magnificent scenery and magical light of the region--Georgia O'Keefe being the most famous. The number and variety of galleries within an easy stroll of the plaza give evidence of the continued vitality of the resident artist community. The Sangre de Cristo Mtns provide a wide variety of outdoor activities--skiing, fishing, cycling, hiking. The Rio Grande River is only 12 miles away and is a favorite with kayakers and rafters. Taos Ski Valley, famous for its European style runs, is the nearest ski venue at about 20 mi. from town. In addition there are another 5 resorts within easy driving distance. For those in search of more classical entertainment, The Santa Fe Opera is only an hour away. Taos is known to cast a spell--you may not be able to leave.
