SPRING IS A GREAT TIME TO VISIT TAOS!

Taos Condo Rental Photos and Description

1 bedroom, 1 bath in the heart of romantic Taos

This cozy apartment is located just a few minutes walk from historic Taos Plaza. A cool and colorful central courtyard with splashing fountain has earned this complex the name of 'Oasis of Taos.' Step inside and you'll find a comfortable retreat where you will quickly slip into the relaxed rhythm of this very special town. In the winter, build a fire in the fireplace or enjoy the clear skies of norther New Mexico; in the spring and summer linger in your private patio area and enjoy the famous light of northern New Mexico. There's something for everyone. You can choose the active lifestyle, taking advantage of the hiking, biking, fishing and skiing in the surrounding mountains. Or you can simply browse the dozens of galleries, boutiques and museums within just a few blocks. Taos offers an amazing array of restaurants and pubs as well as live music performances. Taos Pueblo, Ghost Ranch (former home of Georgia O'Keefe), and the Chama River (famous for fly fishing) are all easily accessible.

Outdoor Adventures Abound: Taos is ideal for the person who enjoys the outdoors. Each season brings its own treats. Spring flowers, fall foliage, blue skies all year round. Ski slopes for all skill levels. Lots of off road bike trails as well as some of the best road riding anywhere. Rafting and kayaking--either solo or as part of a group. An extensive system of interconnecting hiking trails easily accessible from town.

The local in-town bus service, the Chile Line, connects in winter to Taos Ski Valley.

Art--A Way of Life: Taos is unique in its long history of attracting and supporting the visual arts. Dozens of galleries line the streets of town--most featuring local artists. Friendly and knowledgeable, gallery owners are eager to share their passion for the arts. Courses and workshops continue to lure both the novice and the proficient.

Special Discounts: A number of discounts available--please contact owner for details regarding discounts!

PERFECT PLACE : )

  • 5 of 5
Visited Taos in early May and stayed at Donna's charming condo.
Arrival information was sent in advance and the directions were easy and clear. The space was bright, colorful and extremely clean. It's very close to the square, galleries and all the other delights Taos has to offer.
Donna was easy to work with and we would certainly stay at her piece of paradise again, should we be in the area. Thanks Donna!

GREAT SPACE!

  • 4 of 5
This is a great little place close to the plaza but relatively quiet and off the beaten path. The condo has everything you need (I would recommend adding a cutting board- couldn't find one) and is spacious and very clean and well kept up. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

HAD A GREAT WINTER!!

  • 5 of 5
I rented for the entire winter and had a great time. Used it to ski at Taos Ski Valley which was perfect for me. Everything worked as advertised, and the place is really close to all in Taos, from Taos Plaza, shopping, dining, and many galleries. Food shopping is less than a block away which was very convenient. I'll definitely stay again if I'm ever in Taos, and strongly recommend the place for anyone spending time in Taos. I'ts perfect for 1 person or a couple.

LOVED the place

SO CUTE!! REALLY QUIET!! VERY CONVENIENT!!

  • 5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here in early December....what a nice place!! Very clean and all the amenities one could really want. The bed was very comfortable too!! The owner was really generous with her time - getting us situated - and allowing our two dogs to stay (that is mandatory for us). Super quiet - actually the only person we even saw was a guy shoveling snow. It's only two blocks from the grocery store and about ten to the square - easy walking. We'll be back!!!

COMFORTABLE AND HOMEY

  • 5 of 5
Comfortable and had everything I needed--kitchen and bathroom amenities, plus plenty of firewood and the comforts of home. So close to the grocery store and plaza attractions. Hope I can stay there again!

Notes:
Visitors often comment on the comfortable feeling of Sonterra. Either sitting in front of the fire or sipping your morning coffee in the courtyard we think you'll succumb to the relaxing ambiance. Coffees, teas and cocoa provided. The sky lights in the unit make this condo bright and cozy. Please note--wireless internet is included at no charge. This is a shared access arrangement and is appropriate and adequate for checking email and casual internet usage. Overall internet services in Taos can be cranky and unreliable. We will make every effort to ensure you are able to connect however we are UNABLE to provide high-end access and services.
