This unit (406 south) is new, clean, modern and colorful. It features a wide terrace overlooking the long and wide beach and heated infinity pools, a home theater, extra closets, totally equipped kitchen with granite counters, gym, tennis, kids playground, maid service, high speed wireless internet, washer and dryer, air conditioned. It is located in the exclusive Portofino complex, a gated community spread over 12 acres of landscaped gardens in the residential area of the marina. The unit is in the preferred south tower, conveniently located 5 minutes from the international airport and 3 miles from downtown. Over 100 stores and restaurants are a 5 minute walk. The 18 hole marina golf course is also across the street. Best of all, the beach in front of us is 4 km long, with white sand, and always peaceful and quiet, perfect for those morning or sunset walks. It's an incredible location in a very comfortable luxury unit.

The Marina is ideally located, close to town (3 miles) and the airport (1 mile). It is an upscale, quiet residential area, built around a rolling 18 hole golf course and 4 km. stretch of white sand beach. There is plenty of shopping, a big super market, restaurants and lovely areas to walk and explore or ride your bike. No wonder the top 5 star hotels are here -the Marriott,. the Westin, Velas an the most luxurious condo projects like Portofino. The 400 slip Marina, with its multi million dollar yachts is right in the center of the Marina, with over 100 restaurants and stores. And all this is a 5 minute walk from Portofino.

LOCATION: The Marina area is the 5 star hotel area of Puerto Vallarta, home to the Marriott, Westin hotels. It is quiet and residential. All the shops, and restaurants are 5 minutes away in the Yacht basin, home to over 400 luxury yachts. A super market is 10 minutes away. A taxi and bus stand is right in front of us. Downtown is 3-4 miles. The 18 hole Marina Gold Club is across the street.

BEACH: The 4 km beach in front of us (just take the elevator down and walk past the infinity pools) is just great. It's quiet and serene and very wide. In addition, we have private palapa umbrellas and lounges reserved for condo guests. The beach is made for easy swimming, playing lounging or taking long walks.

PORTOFINO: This complex is really full service and 5 star. The gated community is secure and quiet. The staff is very friendly and you can make use of all the amenities, including the business center, with computers and faxes. It is recognized as the premier condominium project in town. Lighted tennis courts, paddle tennis, a gym, parking, security, 5 elevators , drive up lobby, heated infinity pools, a children's play area and low fountain pool to romp in and much more !

Golf: There are 7 championship golf courses in the area. The Marina Club is across the street. Others are within a 30 minute drive.

This condo is gorgeous! From the modern decor, awesome view of the ocean, friendly security and staff, and beautiful Marina, we truly enjoyed our month in 406S Portofino. It is even better than the pictures. Clean, modern furniture, air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, nice shower, washer/dryer,...everything you could possiby need, is there for you. Owners are extremly helpful and are there to help you whatever the case may be. I highly recommend this unit and/or property. You will enjoy it and not want to leave!

This is a lovely condo with everything in it that you could ask for. The owners and management are very helpful and nice people. The pools are so nice and quiet after being at an All Inclusive we really enjoyed it and the view from the balcony is beautiful. Lots to do and see around the Marina. Resturants and shops near by just a five minute walk away and a bus stop close to go down town. Make sure you eat at Victors at the Marina it is so much fun.

We are the winter "occupants" of this condo and like it so much we'd be happy to live there all year! It's both beautiful and comfortable. And -this condo comes with the best possible owners and property manager. We're looking forward to our third winter in '09 so we feel qualified to guarantee that this is a fabulous place for a vacation!

We rented 406S in April and found it to be exactly as described. The view is wonderful, the living room comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the king bedroon delightful and sexy!!! The best single bedroom in the complex.

Great apartment, well-equipped and comfortable. Magnificent view, cool breezes, convenient shopping. Wonderful restaurants in the marina, 10 minute walk away. Owners and their property manager are very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommended.
