You will be with in walking distance of Patoka Lake in 3 directions and a short three-mile drive to the little Patoka boat ramp. Patoka Lake is Indiana's cleanest reservoir & second largest.
Walk out the back of the cabin, step off the large deck, and you will be on your way to the mouth of Patoka river. Which is quick access to the fast water over 10 mph, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, etc. Walk cross the road and down the hill you will be at the 10 mph zone, fishing, hiking, and relaxing. Follow the road you come in on W. Newton Stewart and it will run right into the lake.
Note: Defined hiking trails are limited near the lodge but most of the surrounding land is public property and available to all. There is more hiking/biking trails at the Patoka State Park approximately 20 minutes away.

Lodge: The cabin is well equipped with the comforts of home, large eat in kitchen and bar, large table under roofed porch, corner wood stove, with a beautiful hearth, living room and a large family/gathering room up stairs with open balcony looking down on the hearth. There are 2 small cubbyhole rooms for the kids, one called the Bear Cubs Den the other Bat Cave.
To do: You will have quick and easy access to hiking, fishing, boating and hunting. There is plenty of public land available to the hunters. And of course the lake is full of Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, Strippers, and most all other native fish.
