We had a great time and property is in a GREAT location for access to Cape as well off Caope visits. Beach and views are a 10 and neighbors were friendly and accomodating. The house met all our needs plus. We felt at home because it is a BEAUTIFUL home--We look forward to next year.
Thank you so much to Ken & Susan for providing us with your beautiful home for our weekend at the Cape. Our family had such a nice time and from the minute we stepped through the door we felt at home. The house was immaculate and the view was spectacular - the perfect spot for our young children. Thank you again - we truly appreciated it.

After reading the previous reviews we hoped to have all that we needed upon arrival. We found that we had everything we could possibly need, AND MORE! I was especially impressed with the beach and kitchen supplies.
We were a group of 7, ages 5 to 55, including two teenagers.
The bedrooms were roomy, cool and comfortable for sleeping. The weather was much warmer than we expected in mid-August...short-sleeve weather the entire time. There's no air-conditioning (but plenty of fans). We were never hot.
The house and grounds are immaculate. The living room is roomy and comfortable...kids watched movies most evenings. There were numerous places to eat...at the island in the kitchen, at the large table in the garage, or outside. There are two large refrigerators with substantial freezer space. The large, well-supplied kitchen was a joy to cook in.
We did not use the grill.
My grandchildren enjoyed the hammocks and swing, and there's a lovely tree outside that's perfect for climbing.
The neighborhood is quiet and there's little traffic on the streets. This made for safe cycling for the littlest in our group. We enjoyed the beach directly across the street as well as the public beach down the road. We also drove to Silver Beach in Falmouth and Nauset Light Beach (Cape Cod National Seashore) in Eastham. Silver Beach was crowded, which I didn't like. Nauset Light Beach (an old family favorite) was worth the drive. Get there early; the parking lot fills quickly in summer.
We ate at "Lindsey's" Restaurant our first evening. The kids really liked the food, so we went again our last evening. I highly recommend the seafood bisque and onion rings.
A previous reviewer mentioned that one bathroom was tight for 8 people. New rule: no locked doors when showering. One could easily (and privately) use the toilet while another was showering. One bathroom was never a problem for our group.
Ken and Sue (owners) were incredibly gracious and helpful...but never intrusive. I appreciated that. We received our deposit back within a week.
I would highly recommend this lovely home to all of my family and friends.
Beautiful home and location. Plenty of room for large family, although 8 people vying for one bathroom was difficult at times. Home well maintained and exceptionally clean. Lovely, friendly neighborhood. Private bay swimming area gave children hours of discovery. They couldn't get enough hermit crabs! Within driving distance of all Cape hot spots and yet far enough not to have to compete with all the traffic in your backyard every night.
We lost two days of our stay due to lack of electricity as a result of hurricane Irene. The five days we were able to occupy the house were very nice. The property was clean and the owner provided good customer service through the unfortunate occurance of the storm.
I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.
This place is simply spectacular! The house is immaculate and has a wonderful layout as well as everything you could possibly want or need was provided. The neighborhood and overall location is perfect. We had our beautiful view and little beach right in front of us and were close enough to travel to any place we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this place. It is a GEM of a find!!!!
