Okaloosa Island Vacation Rental townhome

First night no air worked on either side. Eillen put us up at the HI Sunspree and got air working..gave us both sides and sprayed for the biiiiiig roaches. Doors were broken. Roof leaked tar..all of which eillen had fixed. This place needs updating bad and this company just took over the property. The pool is very nice and they vacuum it regularly and add chemicals regularly as needed. Landscaping is wild, but the palms are nice by the pool. The place is lost in the 70s as far as inside detail. All bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and the living and kitchen/dining are up. You are right on the beach and it is nice and not crowded at all. It is near a lot of good restuarants like the crab shack and ajs. Eillen was nice and tried to please, but the property was so in need of updating (except pool) that it was tough for her. The place was, with the exception of the bugs, clean. This was the least expensive place with a pool I could find so I guess I got what I wanted after the initial night. We had our 18-month-old grandson and he lived in the pool with his dad and that was great because he did not like the ocean or the sand.
