This comfortable and relaxing Chalet style Mountain Home in South Lake Tahoe was recently remodeled and is the perfect setting to come relax and enjoy the Mountains and Lake. This wonderful home backs to a beautiful meadow which leads down to the Lake. It is centrally located being just 10 minutes from the Casinos, skiing at Heavenly Valley, scenic views from Emerald Bay, Grocery stores, Golf courses, restaurants and shopping all with in a 10 minute drive. A 32x24 foot redwood deck with BQ, patio furniture and views of the lake and mountains and Meadow. We just installed a new 4 person Sauna with built in Stereo.

Additional information about rental rates

  • There is a one time cleaning charge of $120.00 for your entire stay. No maid service but if your staying longer than a week and desire a towel and linen change the cost is $50. You can however do your own in the washer/dryer provided if required. There is a $300 security deposit refundable. PayPal or check No credit card other than it's use with PayPal...
  • Frequent renters program:
    for every seven nights paid for we will give you one free night to use on your next stay or at a different time. If you only stay two nights then you would need 5 more to receive the free night. Holidays excluded for using free nights. You can save them up to use for a totally free vacation but your still responsible for the $120.00 cleaning charge. We keep track of everything and inform you when you have reached seven paid nights in order to receive your free night. There are no time limits and they never expire unless the home is sold. We will give plenty of warning so you can still use the free nights if this home were to go up for sale. No plans for that though...

Views: There are great views from the house and from the Deck. Take a short walk through the meadow to reach the Lake and beach area. Two small streams need be crossed to reach the lake. Watch the Sunset from the comfort of the sofa or in comfortable chairs from the deck as the sun sets over the cast mountain range. In the Winter watch the snow fall on the meadow, through the trees..wild life every where. Views of the lake are limited but we see boats out there daily.

Walking distance: Walking distance to many restaurants, clubs, shopping for food, post office or a short 5 minute ride by car. Bring your bikes for added fun either rode bike or mountain biking as there are lots of trails for both. Walk through the meadow searching for birds who nest there and on to the lake. There are shuttles available to get to the Casinos if you decide to not use a car.

The Chalet Style House: This is a two story home with the Master Bedroom taking the upper floor. The entire inside of the house was recently remodeled. It is very cozy and comfortable to create a very relaxing stay. We supplied this home for our own use so all of everything to stay there is provided for you and for us. This is a fine quality home you will truly enjoy and we look forward to having you there. If you stay longer than 10 days a greater discount is available.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful house on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Everything was as advertised...very welcoming and comfortable.

Again Another Great Stay

This was the second time we stayed and this property and again another great time. The only problem is getting the kids away from the Big Screen TV's. The chalet has everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. Close to the Y and its factory stores or a short walk to some great ice cream. Its a perfect location. The only flaw is the next door neighbors starting their diesel trucks at 6am and letting them idle for over 30 minutes. No global warming concerns there. Also take some bug spray for those friendly neighborhood mosquitos. But they don't eat much. Great deck to BBQ and enjoy the sunset or have your morning coffee. The upstairs shower is the best so take first dibs on that bedroom. And the owner Gary is a great host and caters to all your needs.

A Perfect Getaway Home Away from Home!

We loved this chalet! This home is amazing with wonderful amenities, view, rooms, fireplace...you name it! It was better than I had imagined. It was a surprise bday getaway trip for my boyfriend and he loved it! After hitting up the slopes, this was the best place to hibernate and recuperate from a long day of skiing/snowboarding. The master bedroom is great w/ a 42" inch flat screen, we enjoyed our movie time. Only downside is that we didnt stay in long enough. But we will be back! Gary was extremely awesome with accomodating our needs. Thank you again for making our trip extra special =)

The posted photos are a true representation. This home is nicely decorated and well maintained. Perfect for 8 people or less. Great location, private, close to skiing or casinos. Hiking, sleding and great mountain views in back of the home. Owner is very helpful and excellent to work with.

Great property. A nice place to stay. Perfect for a family of 4 or 3 couples. Big deck to relax and a huge TV to watch the games. NIce places to walk/Hike right out your back door.
