Chalet, 4 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

This unusual chalet is a wonderful destination for outdoor active families. the family room is part of a large kitchen/dinning area that seats 10.

All linens, utensils,etc are updated. Internet service and DVD/VCR, local TV.

Location is at the base of Cannon a great family ski area and well known for mountain activities all seasons. There are 3 floors; top floor has bunk room that sleeps 6 and queen bedroom with 1/2 bath; middle floor has parlor, 2 twin bedrooms and full bath; lower floor has kitchen/family/dinning areas, Queen bedroom and 1/2 bath .There is a large deck overlooking the brook accessible from the kitchen area.

House is private on 1/2 acre of woodland

Area is within easy driving distance to famous theme parks, ski areas, State and National Parks.

About The Owner

We are both retired and living about 3 miles from the rental property so are available if needed. We are active year round skiing, sailing and playing tennis.

Why The Owner chose Franconia

This chalet was designed and built my my father who was a well known architect in the Boston area. I acquired it in 1975 and use it primarily for our children and grandkids in the winter for skiing. It is available during the week for the winter but there may be some time when it's available weekends.

What makes this chalet unique

This house is only 15 minutes from larger populated areas of Lincoln and Littleton but retains the quiet feeling of being in the woods. Skiing, hiking/climbing and enjoying the State Park facilities

The State Park is 5 minutes away with arial tramway, the Flume and many hiking trails.
