This rustic cottage has offered budget, basic, family fun vacation rentals since the 1950's. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay for a family vacation with lots of activities to do there is no better choice than Hampton Beach.

The cottage is located on the Hampton River side of the beach where you can see the most amazing sunsets of your life. Hampton Beach offers one of America's best beaches, arcades, restaurants and bars, water sports rentals and fishing trips all within walking distance.

It takes less than 5 minutes to walk two blocks to the beach. There is parking space for two to three cars and additional parking is available on site for a fee.

The cottage is quaint basic accommodations. They are furnished and offer kitchens equipped with cooking and eating gear. Cable hookup is provided with a TV (no HDMI). This is a self catering cottage where you must bring all your own bedding, pillows, towels, and toiletries.

Hampton Beach Summer Events: Nightly Concerts at the Sea Shell Stage from June to September 6th. Two shows starting at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Weekly Fireworks Wednesday nights and holidays at 9:30 during the summer season.

Children's week a great time for Kids 8/13-8/17 Hampton Beach Children's Festival - August 13 - 17th - offers a special week focused on kids. There is a great playground right on the beach that is a hit with kids and parents too! The week offers clowns, special concerts, face painting, crafts, contests and many other great times and memories for your family. This is one of our most popular weeks so be sure to book as soon as possible!!

Nearby golf: There are many neighboring golf courses including Breakfast Hill Golf Club, Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club and Pease Golf course a 27 hole public facility. There is also miniature golf on the beach and in Hampton town as well as a nearby driving range.

Hampton Beach offers a beach getaway with the opportunity for many activities beyond sunbathing and swimming. The beach has plenty of room for volleyball, Frisbee or catch games. Beyond the beach are many arcades, shops, restaurants, and in the afternoon free music is offered at many open deck bars overlooking the beach. There is a fireworks display every Wednesday during the summer season and on Sundays all Holiday weekends, as well as the biggest display of the year on July 4th. The Seashell stage offers free daily concerts and the Hampton Beach Casino features national music and comedy acts several times a week. This year's lineup includes some of the hottest acts ever! The town of Hampton offers antiquing, candy factory, cinema & many shops and restaurants. Nearby excursions include Newburyport, MA, Portsmouth and Exeter, NH and Kittery, York, Kennebunk or Old Orchard Beach ME. Day sails depart for Deep Sea Fishing or a trip to Star Island or the Isle of Shoals.

This place is terrible and we will never go back. The cabin was filthy. There are holes in the floor, ceiling and walls. The furniture was so old and ripped apart that we didn't sit on it the entire we were there.
We actually searched for another place to stay without luck.

Good luck taking a shower in this place. There was no water for a day and a hole in the shower stall.

Great place, 5 minute walk to the beach, no expensive parking to seek for. Close enough to the main strip, but far enough from it to spend quiet evenings. These are cottages, do not expect condo-style living, but they are clean and the owners are very friendly. We've been renting from them for 3 years in a row and will for sure do it again next year!

Could use some maintenance

The cabins have great potential, but most need considerable work ranging from peeling paint to rotted floors, sagging foundations, screen doors that crash shut, furniture from the 60's & 70's, couches with 3 legs and a cinder block, and near non-existant WiFi service.
The price is cheap, and the location is great, but some investment back into the properties would be needed before I'd recommend this place to anyone.
