Thank you for the use of your rental; Sam, Phillip, and I enjoyed ourselves! The town is lovely, and your home is fun and interesting. I especially loved the glass in the hutch and the green vessels on the shelf of the hutch. Thank you for sharing. Natalie
Loved it! What a peaceful little cottage to get away from it all. Our group of seven Moms made the short 45 minute trip from our homes (just far enough to get away from the kids and husbands) for a weekend of scrapbooking, movie watching and alot of just silly girl talk. We highly recommend the pizza at Anile's, yum! Next time we plan to try the Tavern. We just can't say enough about the place. The word "picturesque" definitely fits.

We rented this cottage for 4 days over Thanksgiving and had an excellent experience. The place was very spacious and well equipped, and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. When ther was a small electrical problem owners made sure it was fixed immediately. We can recommend this most highly. In summer this would be a wonderful place to stay.
Our family really enjoyed our stay ... grandson especially loved walking down the lane to visit the cows, the paddle boat and the geese at the cabin as well as the park down the road. Great house with everything we needed! We even loved the trains! Lovely rural atmosphere! Weather warm enough to enjoy it all!
If you want a peaceful getaway, this is the place. While we were staying here, a fisherman asked us if he could fish from our dock, and told us we were living in paradise. If you like quiet country living, this is the place.
The rear of the cottage is situated on the bank of the Yellow Breeches Creek and the front looks out upon a green meadow and a quiet country lane. The setting is totally peaceful. You can have your morning coffee on the little dock, sitting in the backyard swing or lounging on the deck--take your pick. The kitchen and living room are comfortable and bright, there's a nice flat screen TV, and even a pool table. The master bedroom and bath are of a good size. The other bedrooms are small but comfortable. We would stay here again. Not fancy, but very comfy.
We loved the town and area od Boiling Springs. The cottage is located on the creek and down a very nice private road. The dock was lovely and the paddle boat was fun. The sheets and bathrooms were very clean but felt that the house could be dusted more and front of the fridge area cleaned. The cupboards were full of dishes and pots and pans which left us no where to store dry goods. It rained for 2 days and the deck was extremely slippery from mold build up, it did dry out. The back deck area could have used a good cleaning. We had a very pleasant week and enjoyed the area very much, however we would not rent again.
We loved the "Cottage". Although, it is larger than a cottage, in fact, larger than we expected. We enjoyed our stay so much. Our family came to visit while we were there and didn't want to leave. The creek in the back is just steps from the huge deck and was calming and peaceful! Our grandson loved the paddle boat and our nieces enjoyed the canoe. They also played pool in the garage that was styled nicely.
The bedrooms were more than adequate - 2 bathrooms were handy when my brother and his family decided to spend a few nights with us. Oh, the kitchen, can't forget the kitchen! Fully stocked! We cooked Shrimp Creole and served 13 people on the deck! Plenty of everything to throw a little party!
Susan, thank you so much for being easy to contact. I hope I get to stay there again. My family is already telling all their friends about the cottage!
