Clearwater Beach, located on Florida's Gulf Coast, is a semi-tropical paradise. Neighboring Honeymoon and Caladesi Island State Parks offer preserved beachfronts and nature trails. Caladesi Island ranks among the top ten beaches in the nation. The sunset celebrations held each evening on Clearwater's 'Pier 60' invite visitors to participate in the street-festival atmosphere created by numerous artists, performers, and vendors who gather here.
Devotees of water sports will revel in the range of activities available, including jet skiing, water biking, SCUBA diving, sea kayaking, and parasailing. Three hundred species of fish inhabit the waters of this premier fishing area, and Clearwater Marine Aquarium gives visitors the opportunity to explore the beaches and bays of the barrier islands and to appreciate the preservation of the marine environment. Available activities are numerous and include many family-oriented adventures such as a pirate ship cruise, off-shore speedboat cruise, dinner cruises, and much more.
