Our clean and comfortable, energy efficient and solar powered (2010), single story, 1250 square foot condo with two master suites is located on the 11th hole of the North Golf Course (behind the tee-no danger of golf balls and no loss of privacy). Ironwood Country Club is a prestigious 24 hour guard-gated community located in the foothills overlooking the Coachella Valley. Ironwood is adjacent to Big Horn, The Reserve, and The Living Desert.
While the golf course is private and not included with the rental, there are over 50 golf courses in the immediate area. Casinos, spas, art galleries, The Living Desert, world class golfing, shopping (including El Paseo), and delicious dining are just minutes away!
Amenities include new carpet throughout with terrazo tile, a fully equipped and remodeled kitchen with custom cabinets with slab granite counters, and; updated bathrooms with granite topped custom vanities and new Toto toilets; two large patios with beautiful views (north, south, and east) and comfortable furniture; new Charbroil infared gas BBQ grill; vaulted ceilings; abundant windows; full-size washer and dryer; Bose Wave radio/cd player; 42' plasma HD TV; wireless high speed online; iHome clock radio with docking station; and free long distance 24/7 within USA and Canada.
We have owned our property since 1999 and enjoy it when it is not rented. Palm Desert is beautiful year-round! We are always updating your 'home away from home'. During the season, the condo is only available by the month. Weekly rentals will require our obtaining a business license with the city of Palm Desert and an additional bed tax of just under 10%.
My husband and I purchased our Garden Villa in 1999 and have enjoyed upgrading it each year. Tom is in construction, and I am a high school teacher in Orange County. We enjoy our property on the weekends when it is not rented. It is our pleasure to make sure all of our renters' visits are perfect in every way. The condo comes just as advertised, complete with everything you could want. Our favorites are the 2 complete separate suites with en suite , patio access and TV's and of course the back patio with picture post card views "Tee to Green" of the golf course. We have been coming here for 6 wonderful years and have enjoyed them all.
We enjoyed another vacation in this lovely condo for all of December 2013. As before, we found it very clean, well equipped, and very comfortably furnished. The owners added some furnishings to make it even nicer than it already was. We also loved the extension to the patio, where we enjoyed morning coffee in a sunny spot beside the orange tree, overlooking the golf course and awesome distant views. The location is perfect for a variety of activities and excursions. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a longer stay! Thank-you Tom and Leslie for everything, and for sharing this special enclave. We will return!
We were fortunate enough to enjoy six weeks in this lovely condo through the holiday season. Ironwood C.C. is secure, beautiful and well maintained, and this condo is well situated on the golf course with peaceful mountain views from both patios. We were very comfortable here in this light, bright and cozy place. Furnishings are comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We also had opportunity to meet owners Leslie and Tom, warm accomodating, and professional people. We would return in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed our January stay at this condo very much. Nicely appointed, and very light and comfortable. The front patio with it's morning sun and comfortable chairs was very welcome in January, while the back patio would be ideal in warmer weather. We used the pool and jacuzzi a few times, and they were very nice. Very convenient to some good hikes in the nearby hills. We had a routine maintenance issue that was taken care of immediately by the owners, even though it was a Holiday weekend. We are pleased to recommend this rental.
The listing and photos accurately describe the amenities. They don't describe the light airy warmth you feel when you enter the home. It has a fairway view with lovely gardens. We enjoyed the orange and grapefruit trees off the back patio daily.
Everything is thoughtfully provided to ensure the perfect vacation getaway.
The condo is just as advertised with all the amenities you could want. Very clean - especially the kitchen and bathrooms which is important to us. Close to the El Paseo area which we love. Quiet and just steps to the great pool. The owners are great to deal with. We can't wait to come back next year.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve the property with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
There is a $1000 refundable security deposit for first time renters--which can be paid two weeks prior to check-in.
The cleaning fee of $100 is not refundable.
