This condo is located in Santa Barbara within walking distance of the Santa Barbara Mission. It is not in a suburb or adjacent outlying 'area.' Santa Barbara lies between the mountains and the ocean. It is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
We are 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown and most of the city's activities. There is easy, 5 minute access to highway 101, and we are one block from State Street with its frequent public transportation both East to the downtown area, and West to the airport and the UCSB campus.
Our quiet condo is one of 43 similar units grouped together in attractive, tile-roofed 4-plexes and 5-plexes. The lush common grounds and gardens that surround us are professionally landscaped and maintained
The condo is single-story with no steps in the interior living space, or between the patio and interior, and there is only a shallow step from the path to the tiled entry porch and door. Upon entering you are greeted by a large, warm, comfortably furnished, open living room/dining room area with an 18 foot cathedral ceiling and an easy-to-use gas/wood burning fireplace. A bright, eat-in, fully-equipped working kitchen with a separate breakfast nook and adjacent laundry area makes this condo a true 'home.'
Our unit has two bedrooms and two baths. Both bedrooms have lovely mountain views. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a generous size bathroom with a large shower. The second bedroom has a comfortable convertible sofa; its bathroom is a step away and has a tub with shower.
An attractive, private, walled, garden patio extends the living space and brings beautiful southwest sunsets and mountain views indoors through floor-to-ceiling windows fronting the living/dining area. The patio is accessible through a sliding glass door off of the dining room.
The condominium community has a solar-heated swimming pool and off-street parking just steps away. A bonus for laptop users is the free, high-speed WiFi connection accessible from the patio as well as from any room in the unit.
We have never had a renter who didn't love our place. We are 15 minutes from the small but charming Santa Barbara Airport. Once you have been here you will want to come back.

The City of Santa Barbara requires collection of 12% Occupancy Tax for any rental of less than 31 days.
No children allowed under 12 years of age.
$1000 deposit required to reserve dates. First month's rent due 3 weeks or more prior to occupancy, and at least 2 weeks in advance of start of each rental month thereafter. Reservation deposit automatically converts to security deposit on first day of occupancy. Rent with children (all of whom must be at least 12 years old) is $3700 per month.
