Thank you for your interest in Sage Lake Vacations. We are a house/cottage located in Northern lower Michigan. We are three hours north of Detroit, one hour North of Saginaw, and 20 minutes West of Tawas.

The house is located on Sage Lake - the best lake in the county. This all sports lake is 784 acres of pure water fun. You can fish, swim, tube, jet ski, water-ski, wakeboard, kayak, or just relax and float around on the 25 foot Pontoon Boat that is included with this rental(when available). Also there is a wonderful bar/restaurant called Kenyon's that has the best pizza directly on the lake. It is only a short boat ride away. The past three years there has been a fireworks display directly across the lake from the house, making it the perfect spot to enjoy your 4th of July. This year the fireworks are on July 4th.

Lake views are spectacular from this 1600 square foot house that sleeps nine adults and has two levels. The house is situated on one acre of land with 89 feet of water frontage. Recently renovated, the house has brand new appliances, carpet, tile, bathtub and paint. All linens and kitchen equipment is included.

We just returned from our stay at Sage lake last week. First of all it was an awesome experience! Lisa and Dan have gone out of their way to make sure everything is in pristine condition. They have also set everything up in the house so that basically all you need to bring is clothing and groceries. The view of the lake is spectacular and the many islands that are located in the lake are also very beautiful. The home itself is fully remodeled complete with new appliances as well. The house was extremely clean and has been well taken care of. The sleeping arrangements were also perfect with three good sized bedrooms and a pull out couch. Our children had the time of their lives on the boat and fishing from the docks. The home is located about 15 minutes from either Tawas city or West branch that allow for different things to do and grocery shopping. There are also bait shops located very close that are helpful with local fishing reports. I can't say enough about how well Lisa and Dan took care of our family. The trip was worth every penny compared to any other option in the state that we had looked into. Everyone also needs to visit Kenyon's it's a beautiful restaurant resort that you can dock the pontoon boat at for lunch or dinner. Barb ownes Kenyon's and will tell you the history of when Al Capone stayed there with the purple gang. The place is full of history and has absolutely wonderful food and atmosphere. Feel confident when reserving your stay with Lisa and Dan. I guarantee your entire family will be completely satisfied and relaxed.

We just returned from a wonderful week. The house is great and everything is well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed swimming and using the pontoon boat. Kenyon's for dinner was definitely a highlight of our trip. We can't wait to come back next year.

We stayed at Lisa and Dan's the week of July 26th. Our stay was perfect. It had everything you needed. The pontoon boat worked great for all the fishing we did and sight seeing around the lake. The weather was great too. We only left a couple times. We went to Kenyon's with the pontoon. It was very pretty inside. We also went to Kocher's grocery store. We barbecued all the rest of the time. Our little dog, Sadie, loved the boat rides too. This was a very quiet and relaxing vacation. We'll be back next year.

We spent the week of our 1 yr. wedding anniversary here, and all we can say is WOW !!! what a BEAUTIFUL place !!!! definitely coming back next year. We caught lots of pike and bass,picked LOTS of morel mushrooms,saw loons,geese deer,and a pair of bald eagles.We could not be happier with the accomodations. Thank You VERY MUCH Dan and Lisa !!!!
