This oceanfront two bedroom, two full bath condo, is located in the popular Shore Drive area or Myrtle Beach. Sit on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee with a FANTASTIC view of the ocean, beach, and Apache Pier. The view allows you to see for miles up the coast line. You are just steps from the beach and the two ocean front pools. Being this close to the beach make it a great condo for families with kids!!!

Located right beside the Sands Ocean Club with Ocean Annie's outside beach club and bar, a great breakfast buffet, and River City Cafe. It is just a short walk to the Shore Drive Straw Market with Flip Flops bar and grill, ice cream, a convenience store and other small shops. This condo was just redecorated with new vinyl and wall paper, and is freshly painted. It is a truly great condo, and we take great pride in the way it looks and making sure everything is in working order for your vacation. Sorry, no pets or motorcycles allowed.

In addition to the great view, the Shore Drive location is convienent to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer. Just four miles to Barefoot Landing, which has over 100 shops and entertainment like Alabama Theatre, House of Blues, and many great restaurants including Greg Normans Austrailian Grill, T-Bones and Joe's Crab Shack. Approximately one mile from the Tanger Outlets, a super Wal-Mart, Galleria Shopping Center, Chuck's Steak House, Bimini's, Rossi's, 2001, and restaurant row, with many great restaurants offering everything from steaks and seafood, to Mexican, and Italian food

Just a few miles from Broadway at the Beach, with shopping, Ripleys Aquarium, Planet Hollywood, Nascar Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe, Key West Bar and Grill, and many, many more restaurants, and attractions. Also, in the Broadway area are the Carolina Opry and Dixie Stampede shows, and The Myrtle Beach Pelicans stadium. Close to many of the 100 golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area.

This is truly a great condo for your vacation. Just steps from the sand it is great for families!!! All the comforts of home, including cookware, WiFi, cable TV, etc. There are two ocean front swimming pools, with outdoor grills and picnic tables located nearby for your use. Shore Drive and A Place At The Beach lll are the perfect location for your Myrtle Beach trip this summer.

Why The Owner chose A Place at the Beach

The view and the location are fantastic. You can see up the coast line for miles. We enjoy sitting back having coffee or a drink and watching the beach and ocean for hours. The Shore Drive area is close to everything you need without ever having to get in the traffic of hwy 17. You can get to Wal-Mart, grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, golf and nightlife without ever getting into the traffic of the main roads. Also, Shore Drive is a dead end street so there is not the traffic and congestion that you have in many other areas of the beach.

What makes this condo unique

Location, Location, Location. We can walk next door to have a buffett breakfast, or take a short walk to Apache Pier to eat and see if they are catching any fish. Ocean Annie's ocean front beach bar is right next door, and River City Cafe with great burgers makes it easy to grab some lunch and never change out of your bathing suit. We pick it up and go to the condo to eat and enjoy the view of the beach. Also, in the afternoon, we like going to Flip Flops which is just a short walk, for a drink or grab a sandwich.

You are just a mile from Restaurant Row and dozens of great places to eat. Rossi's (Italian), Cagney's (prime rib and seafood), Chuck's Steak House, Biminis and Duffy Street (seafood), and many many more.

If you like to fish, the pier is within a mile. If you want to play golf, Arcadian Shores Golf Course is about a mile. Shop at Tanger Outlets about a mile away across from Wal-Mart. Eat, Drink and be merry on Restaurant Row just over a mile away.

Most of all, being able to walk just a few steps and be on the beach and near the swimming pool is wonderful !!!

Our family has rented this unit for the last 3 years and love the condo, what a view.. Shore Dr location is perfect. The owners of this unit are so easy to work with. I recommend this unit to families with kids and to anyone that wants a relaxing week at the beach.

Amazing vacation with an amazing view

Thank you for the use of your condo. Pictures tell a thousand words but can't begin to descripe the comfort and homey feeling of this condo. The unobstructed 3rd floor view looking out the patio doors should be on a postcard, not to mention the awesome sunrise every morning luminating the whole condo with an orange glow.
With the sand only steps away, Apache Pier within walking distance, Sands Beach Club Resort lazy river and Ocean Annie's outdoor night club right next door, there's always something to do. Ocean Annie's Night club is literally right out the patio doors. A live band is playing every night of the week until 11:00 p.m. We enjoyed cooking our meals with the well stocked kitchen. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, bakeware. Plenty of seating room to entertain our family staying right next door at Sands Beach Club. Kroger's & Super Wal Mart are 5 minutes up the road for groceries. Tanger Outlet, souvenier shops, outdoor shopping malls, restaurant row, Carolina Opry, Barefoot Landing outdoor mall even has a Cleveland Browns Fans backer bar Wild Wings Cafe. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. We would definitely recommend this condo to others. The owners are a charm to work with. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic condo, location, and time had by all!

We have vacationed in Myrtle for years, our last trip was 5yrs ago. We chose this location as our children are older and we wanted away from the Grand Strand some. We stayed at the Hilton just up the beach a few yrs back and loved this area. Owners were easy to work with, and condo is as described. Buildings are in great shape, grounds are clean and well kept. Pool was adequate, surpisingly poeple come and go so it was never really busy. We cooked out on the grill one eve...there are 5 of them! Parking seemed adequate, at night it got pretty full but there was always a space close by our unit.When we opened the door to the unit...my view was of the beach/ocean! Condo is in good condition, the pictures kinda date it abit with the paneling, much better in person. Its very clean with all the ameneties of home. Ceiling fans in all the rooms, we kept them on to keep the unit cool. The LR a/c has to run alot to keep it comfortable on a hot day. The bedroom with the twins is a bit warm as there is no a/c. My kids travel with fans so they were fine and we kept the master BR a/c truned down for airflow. Loved loved loved the balcony/view! My kids were out there all the time. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need, I couldnt believe how much stuff was there. Loved the island space for serving from. There is also a nice utility room where you can place your cooler, chairs etc so you dont track sand. Ocean Annies....is a stone throw away. This is good/bad pending your likes. The music starts most days around 12-1, change bands around 5-6 and they play until 10. You hear it in the condo but it is not offensive, you can nap without problems however, some days I just wanted it to stop. On the other hand many eves we really enjoyed it. My kids loved watching the poeple who would come and go from the beach and Ocean Annies. Location is excellent, easy access to Kings Hwy where there is everything for miles.

Only negative: Twin beds....very uncomfortable and I have given my feedback to the owners.
I would definately recommend this unit and would rent again in a minute!!
