Harwich is a delightful town on the lower Cape that offers spectacular beaches and fresh water ponds for swimming and boating. The Cape Cod Rail Trail follows a former railroad right-of-way for 22 miles through 6 local towns. Its paved surface, few hills, and well-marked automobile crossings make it ideal for cyclists, runners, walkers, and horseback riders. Quality restaurants abound as well as 'Home Made' Ice Cream shops. Many antique and gift shops are located nearby on Rte 6A and Rte 28. There are many local live theatre groups within a 30 minute drive. Provincetown is a center for the arts and offers numerous galleries and boutique shops as well as lots of local color.

A great family holiday home

We had a great week at this house. It was very clean and well presented. We were not disappointed when we arrived following a very long journey from the UK!

Our two young children settled very quickly and this house had everything we needed for our young family. The back yard was fully enclosed and had ample space for young children to run about.

Inside the rooms are well sized and the pictures on the website are a good representation.

Harwich is a good central place from which to explore Cape Cod. We would definietly recommend a whale-watching trip from Provincetown - the kids loved it and we saw loads of humpbacked whales. Chatham is a great town to explore and the beaches all over the Cape are fantastic - we didn't find one where we were disappointed!

We were sad to leave and hope that one day we'll be able to return!

Cozy Comfortable Convenient Home Away from Home

We were quite pleased and rather amazed upon our arrival at this home. It was comfortably appointed, cozy, tidy and every amenity was offered by the owners. We received a call by them on the day of our arrival to make sure that all was well.I would highly recommend this property to anyone truly seeking a home awaY from home while on vacation.The location cannot be beat, as it is centrally located on the cape, a quick bike ride or short walk to the cape cod rail trail and there is nearby shopping, dining, movies, etc.I can honestly say that there were no negatives.

Great Harwich house

My wife and I just spent a week at this outstanding house. It appears to have been just painted inside and it is incredibly spotless. The appliances are high end and new. Everything we needed was provided. For us it was perfect and we've already booked later this year. Great owners to talk with and I would highly recommend this property. We feel it will become our home away from home. It is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood and, for us, very convenient for our stay.Chatham Bars Inn has outstanding Chowda and George's Pizza in Harwichport is the best.Scargo Cafe on 6A quite good. A great time.

perfection at the cape!

My husband and I stayed at this spotless home with ALL the amenities plus more. It is a warm and well organized home. The location was perfect and the layout supreme.

The owners of this home are most gracious and would do anything for you.

We went into Chatham as we have relatives that live there. You can not beat The Chatham Squire to eat and The Chatham Bars Inn Beach House for lunch!

I am in the education field and four of my teacher friends went there in October of 2007 and had a wonderful time to remember.

I would highly recommend this beautiful home!
