Chatham Vacation Rental condo

My husand, myself and 2 teenage girls,,,plus a friend enjoyed a week of rest and relaxation in Chatham. This condo is 1/2 a mile from Lighthouse beach and a little over a mile from Chatham center...all within a pleasant walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Cape cod knowing back home was in the 90's. Having the condo air conditioned helped make for a restful night.

The condo was a comfortable fit for our family of five including 3 children ages 11, 13, and 16. The large yard outside was perfect for football and wiffle ball games. The back porch provided a serene respite for family supper on a picnic table. The beaches were a short distance walk for older children. The walk would be bit too long if toting toddlers and small children. (The water front at the condo itself was too murky for swimmming.) The very strong current resulted in much less water contact than usual for our family. I would not recommend the beaches for young children unless they are happy to spend time in the very large pools of water that formed in the sand due to the currents and undertow. However, watching the seals daily from teh beach provided another wonderful facet to the vacation not seen at other Cape Cod beaches.

We were very pleased with the well appointed condo which was stocked with everything one would need. It is teh perfect place to bring the family if you want some time together to play board games, walk to teh beach go for a little swim or drive to the National seashore for teh large waves. Also, connecting with and dealing with the owners of the condo was a very pleasant experience.

Our family would definately spend another week at the condo. It was cozy, comfortable and restful.
