Please take the time to review the additional feedback left by all of our other HAPPY and repeat guests we've had stay with us over the years.
This guest asked to rent the entire month of September of the upcoming year before we discovered damage and held part of his security deposit.
We had no choice but to withhold $100 of his deposit for damage to the oven for repairs. He chose to leave negative feedback in response.
We've never had any complaints about the cleanliness of our log home.
Any items that have needed to be fixed or replaced have been attended to promptly.
In addition to the damaged oven our housekeeper can attest to the additional hours that she spent cleaning after this departure to have
it ready for the next arrival.
GREAT PLACE! GREAT AREA FOR HIKING & OUR DOGS HAD A BLAST!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lakeside home. The sunsets were spectacular. We had a last minute glitch with a different rental and appreciated the quick response and this owner's willingness to to accommodate us at the last minute--they saved our vacation! This is a perfect place to relax with family, friends and nature--we'll definitely be back!
Our family relaxed in this clean modern home. We enjoyed bicycling, kayaking, a sandy beach day at a nearby state park and many explorations of the still-rustic Lake Champlain islands. Highly recommended.
We loved it. It was immaculate when we arrived. Beds were all made nicely. Everything worked well. The overall layout and design of the house lent itself to a very enjoyable experience. We appreciated the many amenities such as multiple TVs, puzzles, kayaks, etc. We also appreciated the privacy provided by the distance between the houses. We used the boat dock, gas grill, and comfortable hammock. It all worked great.
My family and I have stayed at this home on Fee Fee Point Rd on at least 6 occasions ,the home is gorgeous, clean, great furniture, large flat screen tv, and the kayaks, canoes are a bonus! We would never stay any place else while in VT. The owners Are amazing, always kind, they even brought in a high chair to the home when our son was an infant. The windows are floor to ceiling, and the views are fantastic! We always have a gorgeous view of the lake, whether we are inside or eating outside. the fishing is truly unlike anything we have ever experienced, the bass are big and plentiful. We have never ever had a complaint staying at this lovely home, and would 100% recommend it to anyone!
Great location, lovely setting and a very peaceful place to stay. All the amenities anyone could want - lacks nothing. Owner very responsive and accommodating.
The main attraction in this area is the lake itself. The bass fishing is among the best in the country !!! Water sports, kayaking and boating are popular past times. Fine dining at Shore Acres in North Hero and Ruthcliff's on Isle La Motte are popular dining destinations. Golfing at the Alburg public course is available only 3 miles away. Har-Tru courts Tennis courts rentable by the hour at Shore Acres Resort. Antique shops, country fairs and farmers markets are common finds.
Local Drive-In Movie Theaters are great fun ! Take a trip to Montreal for the day ~ It's only 60 miles away ~ Don't forget to bring your passport to cross the border.
