This beautifully well decorated home located in “Old Nags Head Cove” at 13 1/2 MP is situated 1 block from the Albemarle Sound. Our home is 3 /8 M to the beach; 1M to Family Fun on Jockey’s Ridge. (The Dunes); 1 M to Tanger Outlet Mall; 5Ms to Wright Brothers Memorial; 8Ms to downtown Manteo; 7Ms to Oregon Inlet (charter boats for fishing/drive on beach); and within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and several of mini malls. ****Only .025 mile from the beach!*****

Our home is located near the canal on the soundside with a small sandy beach down the street where anyone can go to swim . The sound is shallow enough in places where anyone can walk without it going over there head collect golf balls and get to the pier and watch the sunset. Our club house is in the development with swimming pool, tennis courts, pool table, etc. available. If anyone has a desire to bring a boat or water crafts there is an accessible boat ramp near the house. There is laser tag and bowling . There are a couple of workout facilities nearby YMCA and Outer Banks.

Golf: The Kilmarlic Golf Club is available to the golf enthuistist!

Other Activities: Parasailing, hang glidding

This rental was a true bargain. The home is extremely well maintained and very well equipped. We have stayed at the OBX many times and I can honestly say this is the best place we stayed for many reasons. Because of the pool, the location, which is on the sound side of the Bypass, was ideal; very quiet and out of the way, yet near to every amenity and attraction we could have hoped for. The owners are accomodating and thoughtful. I believe they have thought of everything. From the ice maker to the hot water tap at the kitchen sink, to every culinary gadget ever made, one would be hard-pressed to find a more well-appointed home. The house is very well-mainained and clean. Every room is well-decorated and inviting, with an eye towards the renter's comfort. We stayed for two weeks and we will definitely be back next year.

Very family friendly

We stayed in this home and were very pleased. We were two families together (traveling with 5 kids) and there was plenty of room for everybody. The home is very clean, well-maintained and the owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We loved the nice big kitchen with enough seating for everyone, which is also extremely well equipped for all of your cooking needs. The home is also equipped with flat screen TVs, DVD players and internet. We really enjoyed having the pool and spent a lot of time using it. The location of Nags Head was great for us as first time visitors to the Outer Banks. It is very central to everything, and there are plenty of food stores, restaurants and activities only 5 minutes away. With all of this, it really felt like a home away from home.

Our family had a wonderful time in Nags Head and this house was great! We found that with our 3 children being under the age of 6 that having a pool was ideal. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need...There was plenty of seating for meals. We also enjoyed being able to sit outside on the deck in the evenings. You won't go wrong staying here...

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home in Nag's head. The pool area is great for swimming during the day as well as the evening as it's very well heated and looked after. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has lots of amenities. The house is very clean and very well maintained (the owner's were great!). And, it's in a very quiet part of Nag's head near the sound. It's about a 10 minute trip to Manteo and Cape Hatteras National Seashore which are both beautiful.

Kid friendly and more!!!

We loved this house!!! It is completely kid friendly-from the interior out to the pool! We have 18 month old twins, and believe us when we say how wonderful this place is for families! My husband and I were able to sit on the deck each night knowing that the girls were safe running around and having fun. We drove 8 hours with young children and the minute we arrived at the house, we were completely relaxed! There is plenty of space for a family of 4 or more! The owners are so wonderful and everything that they promise the house has is true. There is a wonderful pool that is separate from the house and with a lock on the door, so you don't have to worry about little ones wandering into the pool. There is also a beach within walking distance that is quite private and wonderful for kids! The house itself has plenty of space and is so kid friendly! We look forward to returning year after year!
