Easy stroll to both of the Island's mini-golf & recreation areas, several restaurants & shops, yet located on a quiet dead-end street with a large back yard for the kids to play in when home. Recently updated, EOG Townhouse located on the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of Chincoteague Island. Deck off the back porch with seating for 5 and a gas grill. Although this is a townhome there is a large back yard for the kids to play. One full bathroom upstairs with tub, 1/2 bath downstairs. This house is perfect for 2 adults and a maximum of 2- 3 kids.

Quiet, family oriented Island located on the Eastern Shore Virginia. This is a vacation which will take you back to a much more peaceful, restful time. The Island is small - 6 miles wide and 1.5 miles wide. It is surrounded by shallow bays which are perfect for crabbing, boating, kayaking and fishing. Access to the beach is on Assateague Island which is accessed by a bridge on Chincoteague. It is 4 miles to the ocean. This is a wonderful 4 mile drive. Gorgeous views of bays, marshes, birds, deer and of course - the wild ponies. Hiking trails, wildlife loops, biking, jogging, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching & crabbing are some of the activies offered on the refuge. The Beach area does have a lifeguard, bathrooms and outside showers. It is wide, spacious and uncrowded The Virginia Eastern Shore has many quaint seaside towns to explore during your stay here. Ocean City Maryland is one hour away.

Your stay on Chincoteague will be a family experience to cherish. It is a quiet, restful time where a big night out is mini golf and go-carts followed by a movie at the 1950's theatre - which has first run movies. Then top off the night with ice cream at one of the 3 hand made ice cream shops.

Non-smoking rental.

When you go over the bridge for the 4 mile trip to the beach, you go through a gorgeous wildlife refuge with numerous hiking/biking trails & wildlife loop which is 3.2 miles long and closed to car traffic during the day. This is a controlled wetland bird sanctuary which is a haven for those who love a quiet, peaceful time away from the noise and traffic.
