We stayed at "A Norwood's Bird's Eye View" the first weekend in August. We were very comfortable in this very nice house. The hot tub was wonderful, there was a beautiful view, and it was quiet! While the temperatures in Auburn, AL were over 100 degrees, the weather in Maggie Valley was pleasant. A bird had built a nest in one of the bird houses on the porch and my kids enjoyed hearing the chirping of the babies and watching the mother bird flying in to feed them. The framed post cards going up the stairs were really helpful - that was a great idea. We ended up going to Sliding Rock because of the post card and had a great time. The maps were a great help as well. The house was well stocked, the furnishings were comfortable - we had everything we needed. Hopefully we will get back to this part of NC and stay here again. Thanks!
