Great Family Vacation
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Beach Walk Cottage. The accommodations were great....the house was clean and cared for, there were fresh towels and linens and it pretty much had everything we possibly needed for the week. The location is great since you do not necessarily need a golf cart to get to the beach, restaurants, grocery or liquor store. However, I do recommend having one for at least part of your stay since it is fun to explore and restaurant hop. It was especially helpful when renting a boat from Dive Guana since you do need to transport supplies, food/drinks/ice etc. Our children, 5 and 10 years old found everything they needed and were comfortable in the bedroom with twin beds. Nippers and Grabbers treated us well and we found Pirates Cove, which is right around the corner, to have fabulous food. We snorkeled the amazing reef right over the hill that literally was a 2-3 minute walk from the cottage. Mikey and Unni, the caretakers were easily contacted when we were able to show up on an earlier ferry than expected and Mikey also returned promptly when we had an issue with the stove/oven. He fixed it in no time at all. Tina gave us perfect advice when I spoke to her before we left and everything went smoothly. Thank you Tina and Rick for allowing us to stay at your wonderful island home. It's a great place for the price. You will love it and you will LOVE Great Guana Cay....it is absolutely beautiful!
