Local ferries also provide easy access to Burlington, Vt. and beyond. Your escape begins with our comfortable, spacious and carefully furnished four bedroom lodge. New and luxurious bedding provides the rest you crave and will recharge you for memorable days in the breathtaking Adirondack Mountains. Each bedroom is decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind. The great room, kitchen, den and three bathrooms offer creature comforts inside, while the Adirondack deck and woodlands beckon you outdoors.

Year round activities include: fishing, boating, biking, hiking, horseback riding, and a wide array of alpine activities. Nestled on two acres of private property, Red Spruce is surrounded by Adirondack forest. Guest privileges include access to tennis courts, 6 miles of hiking trails, and a pond.

We bought this home because we vacationed in this area for years and realized that if you like to hike, kayak or bike in the summer and ski or snowmobile in the winter this is where you need to be. We also wanted a home that was secluded yet offered all the amenities of a modern house.

Some prefer to sit on the banks and chat or watch the water roll by. Going to a country store, village library or for a country breakfast at a nearby restaurant brings back the joys of a time gone by in most places but remains in the Forever Wild Adirondacks. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are just a few ways to enjoy the beautiful Ausable River. Lake Placid Village is just 20 beautiful minutes away.

We had a wonderful time at this outstanding vacation home. The home was quiet, spacious and very clean. We have rented in the Adirondacks for years and this house is by far the nicest. We've already booked it for next year!

Winter Wonderland

This vacation rental is by far the best we've ever stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was first class and it was an easy drive to Whiteface. Two of our days we went snowmobiling. This place is well worth the cost. Great family memories and we WILL return!
