Great for family's and couples who enjoy a bit of luxury with their relaxation! The spacious cottage is suitable for one or two families. A fantastic custom built gourmet kitchen with farm house ceramic sink, centre-island with seating for four, wooden countertops and stainless steel-appliances (refrigerator, built-in oven, Jenn-air range, microwave, dishwasher) is available. The cottage offers stunning views of the lake and has its own private beach that is great for swimming and other water activities.
Convenient:
The property is very easy to reach on good roads. It is just 25min north of North Battleford. The closest airport is Saskatoon (1.5hrs). The village of Metinota is very quiet and friendly. The weather in summer is usually very good - temperatures around 25-30C with sunny skies. The cottage is also very enjoyable in the winter, which is characterized by lots of snow, and bright sunshine. It is fully winterized.
Ski:
In the winter both cross-country and downhill skiing are available. In the winter you can ski directly off the property onto the lake or in the area surrounding it. Downhill skiing is available at Table Mountain, approximately 40min away and is considered the best in Saskatcewan. A great place for families or to learn.
Golf:
There is a family friendly 9-hole golf course just 2min away and two excellent 18-hole courses 25min away. Many other golf courses in the region are available within a few hours drive.
