If you are looking for a truly memorable holiday this is the place for you. The villa boasts some of the most stunning views of orange groves and the magnificent La Safor mountain range As seen on 'Break with the Boss' with Jacqueline Gold (Ann Summers), the house offers an incredible 400 sqm of superb living accommodation which is tastefully furnished with a Moorish influence. Perfect for large family/friends groups who enjoy staying together but like to retain their own relaxation space. Accommodation offers 2 large receptions rooms, en-suite master bedroom with sauna, 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedded rooms, I single bedroom with bunk beds, 2 further bathrooms & separate WC, spacious fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen with large oven & 5 burner hob, American style fridge & large drinks cooler. The 10 x 4 m private pool has surrounding terracing and the benefit of a large shaded terrace with traditional valencian tiled seating, barbecue area and a mature garden.

Monterrey is well situated just outside of the cosmopolitan town of Gandia, a traditional Spanish market town which offers an array of activities. Local amenities include spectacular white sandy beaches, a variety of golf courses each offering different challenges, abundant tourist attractions, ferry services to Ibiza and the Balearics , seaside and rural pursuits. Easily accessible from both Valencia & Alicante airports. The lively city of Valencia is less than an hours drive away. Nautical enthusiasts can enjoy watching the 32nd Americas Cup which Valencia is currently hosting. If you don't feel like driving, economical train services to Valencia run regularly from neighbouring Gandia & Xeraco.

  • A 25% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The balance payment together with a damage deposit of £200 (to cover losses, breakages etc.) is required eight weeks prior to the reservation date. The damage deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure following a property check.
  • The villa can be accessed after 4pm on the day of arrival. It must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow for a thorough changeover clean.

Notes: An additional utility room provides other amenities. The villa is centrally heated and has two working fireplaces in the reception rooms. All bedrooms have air conditoning units. There are several sunny terraces to dine on and the shaded Moroccan terrace is a perfect retreat from the hot sun. Guests also have free use of the community tennis court nearby. The villa is situated within a quiet cul de sac and there is ample off road parking for several cars. In addition there is a covered car port for two cars.

GOLFING: For golfing enthusiasts there are many excellent golf courses in the area. In Valencia located on a narrow stretch of dunes and dense pinewoods separating the Albufera Lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea is the El Saler Golf Course, ranked among the Top 10 in Europe and Top 100 in the world. The adjacent Albufera Lagoon is a vast expense of brackish waters and rice paddies, which is also a natural reserve full of birds and wild life. Other courses in and around Valencia of note include, Club de Golf Manises, Club de Golf El bosque & Club de Golf Escorpion. The prestigious Oliva Nova Golf Course is within a 20 minute drive from the villa. This course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, is reasonably priced and boasts an excellent clubhouse with restaurant. Nearby La Sella (Denia) & Javea golf courses offer excellent driving ranges and facilities.

LEISURE ACTIVITES: Most local beaches offer water sports including water skiing, surfing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and diving. Horse riding stables can be located next to Oliva Nova Golf Course and there is a go-kart track nearby. Within 30 - 45 mins drive you can visit Vergel Safari Park, Mundomar Sea World, Terra Mittica Theme Park or Aqualandia Water Park. Alternatively you could visit Ibiza on a trip from Denia port, a 25 minute drive away. There are other boat trips to be enjoyed, which travel up and down the coast and to nearby islands.

Other Activities: Wildlife Park, Natural Parks, Museums, Go-karting, Quad bikes, Borgia Palace, local fiestas, shops, restaurants, stunning flamenco entertainment.

'What a wonderful location to celebrate two very special occasions, both were extremely memorable due to the fantastic scenery and barbecue area. Every day we swam for hours. It was total pleasure to be here. This vacation will undoubtedly stay with us forever.'

'What an amazing week we had here at Casabra. 10 friends all flew to Spain to meet up and see Las Fallas in Valencia and Gandia. What a sight and a festival that simply cannot be relayed through words. Casabra was the perfect location to come back to after a long night in Valencia.'

Fabulous stay

We had 13 staying for the week but the property accomodates this number with ease. My favourite spot is the sundowner terrace with a glass of champagne watching the sun go down! The accomodation is fabulous with everything that you would need. It is a great family holiday location that I would thoroughly recomend.

Casabra Visit 2009

We stayed for two weeks, the first with friends & the second with family - the villa was perfect! More than enough space to get away for a bit of quiet time by yourself & also communal areas with enough room for everyone - perfect for large groups. Lots of stairs to help you walk of the meals eaten in the grotto which was such a lovely spot for a BBQ! The villa is fully stocked with everything you could need which made it really easy to settle in & feel at home. Our early arrival & late departure were accomodated for which meant the first & last days of our holiday were far more enjoyable than they could've been. Valencia is just under an hour away (& well worth a visit or two) & returning to the pool was just what you needed after a day sightseeing. The beaches around Gandia are vast! They are sandy, clean & if you don't mind a little walk you can have all the space you need. We prefered the beaches from Javea going south as they tended to be pretty, sandy coves. All in a all a fantastic two weeks of relaxation & sunshine! Thank you to Helen & Stephen for making the booking, arriving & leaving so easy!

Week of well deserved relaxation

This is a wonderful villa, with the most stunning panoramic views. The pool area is well maintained and the grotto eating area fantastic for evening meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quite a few stairs though but at least we had the daily opportunity to walk off all the food we ate the night before!

Highly recommended!
