The Victorian community of Bayside is located 3 miles south of intriguing Belfast and 10 miles north of the world famous town of Camden. The community of Bayside was featured on the cover of 'Downeast Magazine' in April of 04'. The Bayside Inn condos have a dominating presence at the head of the village green with an unobstructed ocean front view of Penobscot Bay. Unit 1 is a first floor 2 bedroom unit with a new kitchen, large living room and a dining room table which seats 12. A large covered porch with wicker furniture which offers unparalleled views of Isleboro, Castine and both the east and west bay of Penobscot Bay and beyond. Penobscot Bay is world famous as a vast cruising ground and home of the world's largest Windjammer fleet. From Bayside one can sit and enjoy the views or venture up and down Maine's magnificent coastline. This small Victorian village got it's start as a Methodist Campground in the 1800's, which is located 1 mile off of Route 1 in the town of Northport.
