Photos and Description of the Homosassa vacation house rental Modular Home - 2 Bedrooms - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 4+) Sofa for 1 if needed

This home is in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood. The neighbors are great and the stress level is low. You can dock your boat at your own dock w/ fish cleaning station in the backyard, or you can just sit and watch the sunsets and fish jumping in the canal. The town of Homosassa has events going on all year. The Homosassa wildlife park is nearby with 1.4 miles of paved trails for enjoying the wildlife that is indigenous to Florida, bear, deer, alligators, Manatees, Birds, Pigs, etc. The grocery store, Walmart, Walgreens and great restaurants are all within 10 minutes drive. The town of Inverness is nearby with 52 miles of walking and biking trails. The home has all the amenities you need to have a nice stay; pots, pans, dishes, and linens and gas grille, All that you need to bring are groceries. There is a washer and dryer in the utility room.

Strawberry & Seafood festivals in town or nearby. Many river activities can be enjoyed from boats or from the nearby marina, Christmas boat light shows, July 4th events, etc..

The Florida room has a table and chairs for great early morning breakfast it also has windows as well as all screens for mild breezes to blow through. The Florida room is on the north side of the home and is in the shade almost all day. The living room and Florida room overlooks the canal and dock. If you care to visit Disney, it is about 90 minutes away.

The town of Old Homosassa has an interesting history & back ground. Nearby shopping in Homosassa is Cash n' Karry, Publics, Huge fruit & Vegetable stand, Walmart and many little shops, Restaurants galore that are eat in, car hop, fast food, sit down, oriental, seafood, Wendy's, Burger King, McDonalds, Arby's,( Luigi's, Best garlic bread around) , and many, many more. the post office is nearby as well. You can swim off your own boat with the manatee's or drive to Fort Island beach or Weeki wachee. There is a Super Walmart nearby for any boating, fishing, clothing, or food needs. The Cedar Key Seafood Company is a stone throw away for fresh off the boat seafood. McRae's Marina, tackle shop, Tiki Bar are up river about 3/4 mile.

Other Activities: Swimming with Manatee's in the wild, Great Tarpon, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel fishing
