Photos and Description of the Destin vacation townhome rental Townhouse - 3 Bedrooms + Den - 3 Baths - (Sleeps 6-10)

Your walk to the beach is just a hop skip and a jump (approx. 500 feet with private gated access). You’re close enough to run back to the unit in case you forgot something or need a short break from the sun, although beach umbrellas and chairs are available for a fee from private vendors. And if you just want to hang around at the pool, the unit is right next door. The balconies overlook the pool, allowing the adults to socialize on the balcony or patio while overseeing and directing the activities in the pool area. The unit is fully equipped including washer/dryer and one car garage. Just bring your personal items and beach towels, the rest is already here. There are 5 separate sleeping areas each with TV (1 King BR, 2 Queen BR’s, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa in LR, and 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa in Den).

The first floor has a large BR (queen bed), a full private bath and private patio. The first floor also has the washer/dryer and a one car garage. The second floor has the living room (sleeper sofa), dining room, kitchen, full bath, and small bedroom (queen bed), large balcony with gas grill. The balcony has gulf views and overlooks the pool. The third floor has a den (sleeper sofa), balcony with great views of gulf, and the master BR (king bed) with full private bath, walk-in closet, wet bar, small refrigerator, and coffee maker.

The balcony views at 601 are different than other Beach Pointe units since the pool area doesn’t obstruct the views. Other units have obstructed views to the south and southwest. Beach Pointe is small group of town homes located directly on Scenic Hwy 98 opposite the beach. Beach Pointe is located just west and almost across the street of the Capt. Dave's restaurant. Adjacent properties are The Enclave, Terra Cotta Terrace, and Chateau Le Mer.

This rental was perfect for our group. The three story layout worked really well for two families to share a 3 bedroom house. Parents stayed on first and third floors (lots of privacy for both) and the kids all stayed on the second floor. Lots of balcony space (every floor). Pool is shared but never was crowded and this unit is only one with views of pool. Beach is close and really nice. Excellent value for a really nice place.
Owner's Response: Thank you for such a nice review. I get a lot of prospective renters asking questions that you have provided answers for. The layout over three floors does provide a great deal of privacy, especially if multiple couples are sharing this unit. The pool is usually uncrowded because only a few units in the complex are rentals and most of the other units are second homes.

Great Time in Destin

The price of this house can not be beat. The house is right across the steet from the beach witha private beach. The unit is right by the pool which my kids loved. I will be make more reservations at this property as it was perfect for our mini vacations if my wife and I do not buy of the untis as several of them are for sale.
