Our first booking of this property in July 2008 was wonderful, and the 2nd time around in July 2009 was even better than the first ! The owner's have made some improvements to the condo, like a fresh coat of paint and beautiful, crisp white drapes on the main balcony. (There are actually two balconies; one in the bedroom and one in the living room) They add to the to the clean, airy beach feel along with the big white palm ceiling fan. I really felt at home as we entered and I immediately went to open the curtains and go out on the balcony, my favorite thing about this place ! I don't know if we just missed them last year, but we saw dolphins in the Gulf just about every morning ! Amazing ! The condo owners, Bruce and Chris have thought of everything one might need for a vacation stay. The walk-in closet, (with plenty of room for a lot of clothes) is also packed with beach gear from chairs to toys for kids. The kitchen is well stocked and ready for a home cooked family dinner, or you can get in the far left kitchen drawer to find a stack of take-out and delivery menus of local eateries. If you want to go out, head down Gulf Blvd. for a bite, from casual to upscale, you'll find it here. Walk across the street to play adventure golf or to go to the local surf shop that I understand has been there for around 35 years. If you fly in you can take the trolley all the way to St. Pete to get to where you want to go. It runs up and down Gulf (where the property is) all the time. You can also go a few miles up the road to Pier 60 in Clearwater for the Sunset party, a great time for the whole family ! The sunsets are really spectacular, as a lot of folks gather on the beach around 8 to watch it. Last year we encountered a lot of friendly people on the beach, and this year was no exception. Everyone offers to take your picture, as we do in return. There is no shortage of hospitality in Indian Shores, and the owners of the condo are just as cordial as this as our 2nd time dealing with them. They even remembered us from the year past ! I have recommended this property to many people simply because the value is outstanding and their listing is always accurate and honest. We brought our daughters with us and we feel so at home here that my Husband and I are planning to go back in a few weeks for some couple time. Yes, it is that affordable that we can do a family vacay AND a romantic getaway on our own. Go see for yourself and enjoy !!
