Some area highlights include: hundreds of miles of the best ATV trails in the Midwest, thousands of acres of county hunting and fishing land, hiking and biking trails, skiing and tubing, boating and canoeing, excellent restaurants, Majestic Pines Casino, craft fairs and flea markets, Warrens annual Cranberry Fest in September and even scuba diving at Wazee Lake! The front porch swing is perfect for watching deer and turkeys, or a taking a well deserved nap. We have a nice fire pit with plenty of wood so the ghost stories can go long into the night. Whatever your reasons are for coming, you'll be able to find something to fit your needs. So book soon and let the fun begin! We are only 6 miles from Black River and 2 miles from Hatfield, so our central location allows you time to play.

Outdoor enthusiasts: We've been coming to the area for many years and our highlights include exploring the hundreds of miles of ATV trails. I can't think of a better place to go fishing! Lakes, rivers, streams, flow-ages ready for the 'catch of the day.' Hunters, be ready for turkey or deer season, and make your camp with us. Bring some bicycles or a canoe and explore the area in a whole different way. Winter brings snowmobiles and Bruce Mound Park for skiing and tubing. Labor Day and Memorial Day there is a Pow Wow nearby where we go to experience the music and food.

Road Trip!: We are only 2 hours from Minneapolis or Madison, just 4 hours from Chicago. Hop in the car Friday night and be there in time for a Friday night Fish Fry at the Awesome Palms Supper Club. Hop on your motorcycle, tour the rustic roads, have a picnic and you'll wonder why you have not done this sooner!

A Little Bit of Romance: There is nothing like a log cabin, wind in the trees, stars in the sky and all the privacy you want to bring a little romance into your getaway.

Perfect for 2 or a whole family!

Beautiful and cozy, this little cabin feels like home. The comfy living room has 2 couches (one a hide away bed) and a good sized TV with DVD. The floors are heated. The little kitchen has all the utensils, cookware and dishes you might need, and dish towels and clothes are provided. Upstairs, the loft is roomy, and the beds are comfortable. Although the ceilings are slanted - watch your head! We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, and explored the surrounding area. Nice park just outside of Black River Falls that has a great trail up to a peak where you can see out over the whole area. Lots of shopping opportunities in the surrounding communities as well. Would definitely like to go back!

Perfect little getaway!

My husband and I rented this cabin for a getaway for our 1st anniversary. We were lucky enough to hit peak autumn colors (it was GORGEOUS!), and had a fantastic time. The cabin is nestled in the trees. We loved spending time in the porch swing, exploring the area, and just relaxing! There was a fire pit with plenty of wood and kindling stacked up for us, and the cabin itself was very cozy. It even has heated floors for the chilly mornings, loved that!

Excellent Cabin--Beautiful and Relaxing

My wife and I rented this cabin for 3 nights during the first week of October for part of our 5 year anniversary vacation. The cabin itself is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. It's set rather close to a County Rd., however the road is lightly traveled and there is heavy tree coverage making it feel deep in the woods. The road is out of view once fully onto the property. The owner (Jennifer) was great to deal with and always willing to answer her phone for any questions. Black River Falls close by is an interesting and beautiful little city with a Super Wal-Mart where you can inexpensively stock up on groceries for your stay. We'd definitely go back to this cabin.
Owner's Response: Beautiful, cozy and peaceful is a great description of our log cabin. The area has great things to offer year round. We've had many people come for their anniversary and even a few honeymooners!

We loved your cabin. It is so quite and cozy. We enjoyed an adult 4 wheeler trip and would recommend it to anyone. It is beautiful and so peaceful up there. We enjoyed the shops in Black River Falls, especially the General Store. Cabin was very spacious and clean. Loved the outhouse out by the road!!!

Great cabin

I came up here with some friends for a weekend and we had a very nice time. The place was clean and cozy. Extra blankets and cookware provided. There's a nice porch swing and a firepit (with benches and a wood stash). There were some unappealing pools of water nearby that seem like likely mosquito breeding grounds, no doubt partially the result of the cool, wet spring this year. The owner was accomodating and easy to work with. I'd like to own a cabin like this and will keep it in mind as a future destination.
Owner's Response: Spring is always a wet time in the area, but summer and fall tend to be quite a bit drier and of course we are open in winter as well.
I'm glad to hear that everything else was clean, cozy and fun and we hope to see you soon!
