We had a wonderful time staying in this cute cottage in August 2009 - a one minute walk to a really great beach makes this a perfect location: the deck in back, overlooking a beautiful salt pond was a total bonus: we had breakfast and dinner on the deck every night, watching the herons feed in the marsh. The cottage itself is small, but shipshape (we stayed in the right half, of this duplex) - good kitchen appliances, comfy double bed in the bedroom, 1.5 baths -- well kept and very cozy. The couch in the kitchen/dining room/living room folds out, and there's a half-bath off this room.
This is such a great location for Craigville Beach - to be able to walk along the sandy drive, cross the road and be at the beach is heaven. (Craigville is a calm, wide sandy beach with good changing facilities/bathrooms, lifeguards, etc - it's great for families.) A half mile walk away is the General Store, with out of town newspapers; Exactly one mile away is the famous "4 Seas" ice cream shack in Centerville - worth the walk (and you'll need to walk off the ice cream!). There are two beachy snack shacks (hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, etc) right on Craigville Beach, as well.
We had a great time, and the owners were pleasant to deal with - nice and down to earth. We hope to return next summer to this charming cottage by the sea.
