This great house is located just off Route 100 and just outside the small town of Wardsboro. Stop at the well stocked General Store for virtually all your necessities including DVD Rentals. The House is perched on the side of Stacey Mountain with great views and sunsets especially from the 6+ person outdoor hot tub. Its covered so you have clear, covered access in the snow. Take the back roads from Mount Snow or Stratton and avoid all the traffic! Its less than 15 minutes to Mount Snow and about 25 to Stratton. Okemo and Bromley aren't too far either. The property is over 10 acres for hiking, snowshoeing and tranquility! We have direct access to to the V.A.S.T. snowmobile trail system to bring along your sleds! Home Gym installed 2008. Personal checks or Cash accepted / ask about Credit Cards and Paypal (fees apply)

This outstanding property is just on the border of Wardsboro and Jamaica Vermont. Just outside the very small village of Wardsboro... you are able to see the church steeple in the view at the bottom of the valley. Very quiet except for an occasional echo of a dog barking in the valley and the river rushing by. The location is very convenient between to major ski resorts MT Snow, Stratton and Bromley as well as two lakes, parks and recreation areas. Townsend Lake and recreation area, Jamaica State Park and Grout Pond and of course the entire Green Mountain National Forest. Hiking trails on the property as well as directly connected to the extensive VAST trail system. Enjoy a private trail to the summit of Stacey Mountain with views of Stratton Mountain.

  • The Master bedroom is large but cozy and bright room with new pine board floors. Completely redone in 2007. Boasts 2 skylights above bed for stars and sky views, 2 other large windows and a huge closet. 1 small TV with 100 channels and VCR. Dresser and nightstands. Two up stairs bedrooms have two double beds each (Total of 4 double Sealy Hotel Premium Mattress in two large bedrooms) with Full Bathroom upstairs. Lower level has 9 x 14 bedroom area with two bunk beds. There is also a double bed pull-out sofa on the lower level.

This is the PERFECT rental home for any group either large or small. It is MUCH larger than it appears in the pictures.
The house is located just a quick drive from both Mount Snow and Stratton. It is extremely clean. It has satellite TV, DVD players, a great sound system, board games, a patio, a barbecue grill, a great gas fireplace, a hot tub, a pool table and is WIRELESS, what more could you ask for?
The remote location allows for minimal cellphone reception but the house's land line offers free UNLIMITED long distance calls as compensation.
There is also an amazing general store conveniently 2 minutes away that sells all the groceries, snacks, toiletries and hardware that you will ever need. The owner is great to work with and is extremely helpful throughout the entire rental process. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

This well maintained home is centrally located between Mt. Snow, Stratton, and Manchester VT (shopping and outlets). If you're looking to satisfy a diverse group where some like to ski and others like to shop, this is the perfect location! Everything we needed was at the house; towels and linens were plentiful. We felt very relaxed and at ease during our stay. The pool table, hot tub, and game room provided us with hours of entertainment. The owner was very easy to work with. I would rent his home again and would definitely recommend it to a friend!

We rented this property only for two days over the Christmas Hoildays and enjoyed every minute we spent
there. The hot tub was a real plus, the kitchen was well outfitted and the sleeping facilities were great. We also
enjoyed the pool table. We went to Stratten to cross-county ski and it was very close and easy to get to. The house was very clean. We want to come back in the summer to experience the area in warmer weather and swim in the nearby reservior. The general store was close by and had great cheese.

It would not be humanly possible for me to be more pleased with our experience in Ken's Wardsboro house. Everything was perfect! Even the pool table was surprisingly well kept and level. The photos do not do the house justice at all, the only way to know is to see for yourself. The property is perfectly situated right between Mt. Snow and Stratton. The town (which you can throw a rock at from the house and hit) has everything you need for a weekend getaway. If you stay here make sure you go to Bob and Peg's! The sausage is INCREDIBLE. Can't wait to book a week or weekend again next year.

I have to say that our group was very surprised when we arrived, the house is MUCH larger than it looks like in the pictures. The basement area is great! Pool table and wrap around coaches along with a stereo system!

The house really does everything you could possibly need for little things such as forks and knives to a washing machine and dryer!

The hot tub is great too and works great!

It is highly recommended that a 4x4 is used will accessing the house during the winter time as the hill is pretty steep.
