The downstairs of the property has 1 bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan , 1 bedroom with 2 single beds fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan, a bathroom with a whirlpool bath , a large living room/dining room featuring sat TV and a extensive DVD library, the kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances.

The upstairs of the property features 1 large bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower, the upstairs of the property is also the access to the 2 large balconies the front one 20ft by 10ft, the rear balcony which overlooks the communal pool slightly smaller, the front balcony catches the sun till about 4pm then you can move round to the rear balcony which catches the sun till about 10pm in the summer months. The property has furniture on both balconies with 2 sun loungers on the front balcony.

The six of us stayed at this apartment in La Zenia October half term. Mark the owner was very helpful and gave lots of advice and also kindly arranged airport transfers which were very reliable. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. It has two large balconies front and back. The front gets the sun from morning until mid afternoon when you can swap to the back balcony which overlooks the lovely swimming pool - a lovely place to eat and enjoy a gin and tonic or two whilst watching the sun set. The complex was very tidy and well maintained and felt very safe. La Zenia is very family friendly with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. There were 3 supermarkets very close to apartment. The apartment is well equipped if you choose to eat in and cook but eating out was very reasonable so we ate out every evening. The owner recommended Bocados just above the supermarket across the road which we returned to during our stay as we all enjoyed the food and it was good value for money. We also caught a taxi to Villamartin Plaza where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars in lovely surroundings. There were plenty of restaurants and bars in La Zenia but we didn't manage to fit them all in - a good excuse to come back. We walked to the large Saturday market in Playa Flamenca which was well worth a visit. We also took a bus to Torrevieja a took a lovely stroll along the prom and browsed around the craft market and shops. The swimming pool was a little chilly late October but the girls still took took the plunge although the sea was nice for a dip too. The beaches were lovely the main one only ten minutes walk away from the apartment. Noticed a lovely lido right next to the beach but the pool was closed this time of year as was the Orihuela Resort 's large outdoor pool very close to the apartment. Another reason to return! Make sure you try out the coastal walks to Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca. Overall we all had a lovely relaxing week in La Zenia. If you are looking for a family friendly, quiet break in the sun which won't break the bank then this apartment and resort will not disappoint.

A Great Place to Chill Out....

Six Sheila's, ranging from 65 - 13 enjoyed our stay at Mark's apartment, which was clean and well maintained.The upstairs had balconies to front and rear (over looking pool) and we spent alot of time chilling and enjoying the sunshine. We packed a lot into our week away and found the apartment a great base to explore the surrounding locations and local markets. Also 15 minute walk to the beach. Mark arranged the airport transfers to and from the complex (thank you).
Favourite eating places were Barcardos, very good value for money and plenty of choice, also five minutes walk from the apartment. The local bars were very friendly and also good value for money. Recommend Paddy's Bar for a good sing a long / dance.
The coastal walk, around 1 hour was pleasant with lovely views.
We would recommend the apartment to others and would return again.

This apartment is a great place to chill out and soak up some much needed sun.
It is sited close to shops and bars and only a 15minute stroll to great beach, with others only a few minutes further away.
The complex feels safe and relaxed, and Marks apartment over-looks a good sized pool.
Mark organised the travel arrangements, which went well, and the apartment provided us with everything that the advert promised.
We had a very enjoyable week.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers
Owner's Response: more features for 2011 include a commercial centre over the road including the likes of primark and c&a to name two.

My family and myself stayed in this duplex apartment in July. It was a lovely well equiped apartment in a great location. The shops, bars and beach are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. The swimming pool is just around the corner and has the added advantage of having its own lifeguard. The owner is very nice to deal with and very helpful. If you are looking for a relaxing, inexpensive holiday destination,you have found it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

fantastic place to stay

me and my family stayed in this villa for the first time in july 2010, its very clean and tidy, spacious and has exelent facilities. its got two bathrooms one on each floor with a jucuzzi in the downstairs and a shower in the upstairs bathroom. all the bedrooms are of a decent size and can fit upto 6 people comfortably. the villa has two balconys one at the front and one at the rear overlooking the pool area with a fantastic view especailly at night time, its peaceful and relaxing either for a quiet drink or family meal the private pool is one of the best features of the complex its a very good size and very well maintained with a high level of safety as there is a life guard present at all times. i would highly recommend this villa either for a family, group of friends or couples as there is something for everyone. in my opinion the pictures on the advertisement dont do the villa justice i personally think that the photos should be updated as it is a lot better than it appears. i can honestly say that i will be returning back in the near future and look forward to doing so.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The house is situated in the popular area of La Zenia about 5 kms south of Torrevieja, it is a 5 minute walk to the blue flag La Zenia Beach , the beaches at Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig are also a short walk either side of la Zenia Beach.

There is a Lidl, Mercadona and Consum supermarket all within 2 min walk from the house from which you can buy anything you may need to make your holiday as relaxing as possible.

Also within walking distance there is a large variety of bars and restaurants offering excellent cuisine and value for money.

For any sporty guests the Orihuela Costa resort is on the way to the beach with facilities like tennis, football, a large swimming pool and sun loungers all at a very reasonable cost.

For golfers there are 3 excellent courses within 10 min of the house, the award winning Villamartin, Las Ramblas, and Campamor.

For guests who do not wish to hire a car transfers can be arranged from Alicante or Murcia airports at a very reasonable price.

For the shopaholics La Zenia boulevard which opened in sept 2012 is a 5 minute walk .

The complex contains 150shops and restaurants icluding , Primark , C&A ,H&M and Decathlon .

Additional information about rental rates

Notes A non-refundable deposit of 100 pounds is required at time of booking, the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. There is a charge of 60 Euro for cleaning which is paid directly to the key holder on arrival by the renter this is not part of the rental charge.l.
A £50 deposit is also required for damages which will be sent by return after the property has been cleaned and inspected .
