Incredible location in Saugatuck on the west side of the Kalamazoo River, this 4 year old home offers the best of both worlds with a trail directly behind the house through spectacular wooded dunes leading to Oval Beach -voted Best Beach In The Midwest by the Chicago Tribune in Spring 2007 - Lower level includes 2-stall garage, bedroom and bath and the upper level includes another bedroom and bath with open floor plan living room including 32' flat panel TV, DVD player, and home theatre system, dining area and kitchen. The upper level overlooks the furnished screened porch and has partial views of the river. This private setting is a great getaway for families or couples and includes everything you need for a relaxing vacation including a private 4-person hot tub nestled in the dune!

We spent our honeymoon at "River Groove" and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations or the location. The home is efficiently and smartly designed and fully stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. From wi-fi, to premium cable, to a wood-burning fireplace, there is everything here you could ask for to be comfortable and entertained. The location is perfectly situated between the chain ferry to downtown Saugatuck and the trail to Mt. Baldhead and Oval Beach. Highly recommended.

Great winter getaway!

We stayed at the River Groove for Valentine's weekend and had an amazing time. The home itself is very modern but cozy while the area makes you feel more like you're at a cottage. The highlight of our weekend was walking ON the frozen Lake Michigan. We look forward to making it an annual trip and potentially added a weekend in the summer there.

Wonderful Tree House Retreat

We had a great time, super location, wonderfully designed contemporary tree house with everything you need. We like walking to the chain ferry and catching dinner by the river, having lunch at the beach is GREAT! They have delicious salads and sandwiches, they play jazz music and its so pretty is sit under an umbrella and watch the sailboats. We have rented here several times and would recommend it to everyone. Our only complaint was the mattress BUT they are being replaced!!!! YEAH! Now its perfect.
