Everything was great! Somewhere between good and excellent! I spoke to the property owner before our visit and he was very friendly and helpful, he even went out of his way to provide extra details about the Kure Beach area.
Very short walk to the beach (where we saw multiple dolphins just yards offshore). In the evenings you can hear the beach from either of the two decks, during the day there is some traffic on the street in front of the house since it's on the main drag, but it's not a problem nor too noisy. Our dog may have enjoyed the visit/trip even more than we did, he loved sitting on the decks (note that dogs are NOT allowed on the beach during the summer months).
We had a great time visiting nearby areas (e.g., Southport, Wilmington, Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach, and Carolina Beach State Park) and eating A LOT of fresh seafood. A restaurant called "Fish Bites" is about a 10 minute drive. We enjoyed it so much we went twice for dinner.
We would definitely recommend the property and hope you have as nice of a time there as we did!
