Also included is a Private office, Rec room with Kitchenette having full refrigerator and microwave. Poolside Cabana with Kitchenette having full size refrigerator & microwave wet bar and full bath. Poolside wet bar with ice maker. Separate deck area with 2 charcoal park grills. We also offer a satellite TV premium package including Major League Baseball and Football package!!

Place was nice, Ocean was great. Almost had one person drown because of the Rip Tide in the area. Should be more warnings about this. The traffic on the beach was terrible. If you have kids, plan on bringing a crossing guard with you as well. Cars actually drive between where you set up on the beach and the water. We had some close calls with the kids almost getting hit as well. Not very relaxing on beach when you have to watch the kids in the water and out of the water.
Owner's Response: We hate to hear that a vacation is less than perfect because of situations that are not in our control. We strive to communicate to our guests the different scenarios that may arise during their stay through our in-house information booklet. We do have Rip Tide information DVD’s in the Living room right beside the TV as well as in the Recroom DVD collection. As for the beach traffic, Currituck County has strictly enforced rules which state that within 300 feet of pedestrians, the speed limit is 15 mph. Sheriff cars and ATV’s use radar to heavily monitor the beach traffic on an on-going basis and also welcome notification of violators from vacationers. Here again, giving us a rating of 4 out of 5 indicates to us that although our guest had a couple of beach situations not satisfactory to them, their overall experience in our home was very good.

We just got back from a family vacation with 20 of us at Fat Cat. The location is great. When they say four wheel drive,,they are not kidding. It is hard to find the first time in. First impressions are not like the pics you see. The place is a bit rundown. Screens are torn, hot tub wasn't working, loose boards on boardwalk, Kids playground needs some work. The decking has a lot of algae on it that needs cleaned. The beach is great, but traffic can be a bit much as you sit in your beach chairs. Place was clean and neat upon arriving. All in all, we had a great time, Place just needs some sprucing up

Being out-of-town owners makes it difficult to assure everything with our house stays in tip top shape, but we strive for that so your vacation is pleasurable. When our management company or prior guests do not advise us of a problem, we are not aware of it. Much to our dismay and disappointment, such was the case with your concerns. Upon your notification and our management company's notification, these items were taken care of as soon as possible. We are pleased that you rated our house a 4 out of 5 and that these items of concern did not hinder you having a great time.
