Amazing vacation

We had the most amazing time at the Pension! Jim & Ann are lovely, friendly, welcoming hosts and allow you the utmost privacy. The property is beyond beautiful, & the accommodations are incredibly spacious and comfortable. There is so much to do in Healdsburg & the surrounding areas. The property literally neighbors wineries, & the square is just a short drive away. Don't miss out on staying here.

Paradise in Wine Country

We just left the cottage after 3 fun filled and relaxing days. The location is perfect, far enough from town to enjoy the solitutide, but close to a lot of wineries, including Matrix which is right out the front gate. The fishing pond and little boat was a great way to relax and enjoy friendly competition with my hubby, who could catch the most fish. There were several restaurants we enjoyed. The Best was Baci, a wonderful small Italian restaurant where we were treated like royality. Bear Republic Brewing co was casual and offered a lot of choices for lunch, which made it hard to decide what to have.
Jim was a pleasure to deal with, he was available if we needed him but also gave us our privacy. The cottage was spotless and had everything we might have needed and we enjoyed the small gift they left for us. We can't wait to return.

We throughly enjoyed our time here. The guest house was clean, quaint and private! Close to town and many wineries. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock sipping our favorite beverages.

Spectacular Setting, Lovely Hosts

We enjoyed our stay VERY much, and the hosts have created the PERFECT get-away setting, made even more perfect if you are a wine nerd. Right on Westside Road, you nearly trip over world-class wineries, and living amongst the vineyard for a few days was inspiring. Close to Healdsburg and the terrific restaurants there. The interior is well-appointed, magazine-quality pretty. Best moment: sitting on the dock of the pond at night, glass of Pinot in hand, watching shooting stars and the Milky Way. Heaven! Thanks, Jim and Ann for sharing this lovely place.

Perfection

We had a perfect week at The Pension. The home is absolutely beautiful with every comfort you could need or want. Outstanding location with so much to do, but just as entertaining to relax at the lake and do nothing. Great fishing, close to the redwood forests and the ocean, great restaurants and shopping, and oh, the wine! Ann and Jim are wonderful hosts and so very helpful with information and tips about the area. Don't hesitate to book this dream house.
