The summer season is the high season and, because the location is within walking distance to shops and restaurants of all sorts, and has a private beach literally 1 minute from your front door, it is well suited for families as well as adults only. For July and August there is a two week minimum stay. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet in spring and fall and is a perfect romantic or quiet get away with several dining options from family to upscale within walking or short driving distance. Please ask about our specials for holiday weekends/weeks, troughout the year. This year Labor Day week (Aug 29-Sept7) is available with 1-2 nights free. Kick off the summer season early and spend memorial Day week or weekend on the cape. Everything wakes up in May and there are no crowds. Long walks on the beach, hop a boat to Nantucket just a five minute drive from your door, explore Chatham to Provincetown, get a massage in town, and don't forget to stop at the Cape Cod Vineyard on the way home to enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset down on the beach. Harwichport is ideally located for those that have never explored New England. Boston , offering fine Museums and restaurants is just over an hour away and Providence, Rhode Island , a haven for some of the finest restaurants in the country, along with the famous 'Waterfire' display on selected dates from May-Oct is just over and hour and 30 minutes. ( see website for details - inquire... ) . Newport, Rhode Island, with it's mansions and lovely harbor is about an hour and Plymouth, MA, with it's beautiful coastline and history is under an hour.
