Lovely Week at the Cottage

The cottage was lovely - spotlessly clean and well equipped as well as comfortable. Jim and Bonnie were gracious hosts and very helpful. The cottage was an easy drive back to Burlington and not far from Essex Junction for Outlets and mini golf for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were friendly and helpful. We felt very much at home and would return again without a second thought. It was a restful and enjoyable stay. Thanks Jim and Bonnie!

We have been coming to the cottage for the past 4 years and have always had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. It is nice to be located on the lake near a great park and only 10-15mins to Burlington. The owner has always been welcoming and available, as well as unprecedentedly helpful to us. I consider the cottage a home away from home!! I would definitely recommend to others!

Great Place to Stay

We stayed for a week and felt very comfortable here. The interior feels much larger, lighter, and airier than it seems from the outside, and the interior is both modern and homey. The house is immaculate, and when we discovered the DVD player's remote didn't work, the owner replaced the entire unit within hours. The view of Lake Champlain is spectacular, just steps away from the front door. Overall, a really fine choice.

Colchester vacation on Lake Champlain

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage on Lake Champlain. The cottage had a sleeping loft that the children enjoyed and was very clean and comfortable. Caretakers were available if any issue with the cottage came up. We enjoyed playing in the lake, biking by the lake, and playing sports at the nearby park with basketball, tennis, and baseball fields.

Notes:
iron & board, coffee maker, freezer, lobster pot, spices, toaster, stove top burners, oven, washing machine, fireplace, books, books adult, games adults, games kids, radio, garden, walkway to water, housekeeper optional, beach towels, ceiling fans, paper towels, restaurant dining guide, security system, laundry soap, toilet paper, towels provided and soaps basic. I leave all my herbs and spices, ketchup, mustard , different cooking sauces, etc... we have an ice maker, everything is there to cook any type of meal, frying pans, pots, dishes, utensils, spatulas, plastic glassware to take down by the water. I make sure there is paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent and other basic items. This can be quite an expense if you needed to buy everything for a week.
