Oceanfront home on a point with 200 degrees of water access, both shallow and deep water. Large dock, covered porch, grill, stone patio, large yard, outdoor shower, fire pit. Rehabbed interior with 2 upstairs BR (each with queen bed), one with balcony, bedroom on lower with 2 sets of bunk beds, playroom with TV, DVD/VCR, open concept kitchen/LR/DR. Washer, drier, AC. Water views from every room except the laundry room! A sailor's dream.

Area activities: Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, historic Stonington village, Stonington fishing docks, wine trail, Mystic River drawbridge, downtown Mystic, submarine museum, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College, ferry from New London to Block Island or Pt. Judith, RI, to Block Island; RI sandy beaches; Essex Steam Train; fishing, sailing, boating, rest and relaxation!

Will Always Remember!

We were completely happy with the home, its location and amenities. It was clean and everything was in working order. Allison was easy to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Being from the area now living in Illinois it was a perfect vacation spot to return to and visit with family & friends (who ended up surprising us with a 25th wedding anniversary party 6 months after our date so total surprise). Everything we needed was there and the size of the house was more than enough. We are a family of five with three college age kids who each brought their boy/girl friends and the sleeping arrangements were terrific with the 3 girls in the bunk room and the 3 boys in the large upstairs bedroom. We spent our time at the house and the water. Completed three jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed the fire pit nightly. We did visit our favorite local restaurants: Angie's for pizza/grinders, Steak Loft, and Sea Swirl for burgers & ice cream.

The description on the website does not do this property justice. The setting is amazing and the house exceeded our expectations. One of the nicest locations on Mason's Island, easy to get into Mystic and other places in the area
The owner was wonderful to deal with and very helpful with suggestions as to things to do, etc.
Bravo Bravo is a great restaurant in Mystic, but just cooking lobsters with all the trimmings while staying at the home, was the best.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Room with a View!!!

The home and property were much nicer and larger than they appeared in the pictures. Our teenage/young adult children enjoyed the local beaches, shops and just fishing/crabbing at the house. The firepit was terrific at night...right on the water's edge. Everything we all needed for a vacation was in the house, on the property or in the near vicinity. The property was clean, well-equipped, and the owner was pleasant and accomodating. The restaurants, shops, beaches, aquarium, and wineries were all in the vicinity. It was PERFECT!

It couldn't be any easier. It started with great communication with Allison, the owner. Pick your dates, send the deposit, get the key and your in. The property is just spectacular. The description doesn't do it justice. The house, the views, the friendly people. Wow!! This is a great house to rent year after year. I still can't believe I found this great vacation home. Looking forward to my stay next year.
