This end-unit has a covered front lanai. The covered back lanai has a charcoal BBQ and beach supplies.

This is the smallest complex in the Kapaa/Wailua area This vacation home is one of only 12 units on the ocean side of the complex. Enjoy the convenience of a bottom floor, end-unit. No elevators, no lobby, no stairs. Reserved parking space is 20 feet from entry lanai and parking is free. (There is no resort fee) The back lanai faces a greenbelt and tennis courts(not part of the complex). It is a perfect spot for the afternoon BBQ.

The narrow strip of land on the ocean side of the highway has upscale resorts within walking distance. Enjoy a different restaurant each night and afternoon cocktails at the nearby beach bars. Or walk across the street to two shopping centers to enjoy coffee shops and restaurants.
This is a central location on the island. Wake up in the morning and decide to snorkel on the north shore (24 mi to Hanalei Bay) or body board on the south shore (19 miles to Poipu) Or enjoy the surrounding Wailua area with it's many activities including the Wailua golf course (2.5 miles)

Why Mike chose Kapaa
We live on Kauai and we like being able to offer an affordable, 2 bedroom within steps of the beach. We chose this area because of it's close proximity to the coastal walking/biking path. This vacation home is in the heart of the partially complete 16 mile stretch of the bike path. We love the layout of the unit because it is in a 4 plex building configuration on the quiet (East) side of the complex. Only one shared wall and a unit above. We have spent years upgrading and remodeling this unit. We get positive feedback on our vacation home and enjoy making it a great value. We sometimes offer percentage discounts, which cannot easily be described in the VRBO listing. You need to contact us to know the true rates.
What makes this condo unique
Since we live on the island, we are available to help with maintenance issues. This is one of the few places on Kauai where you can enjoy our island without renting a car. Take a 15 minute taxi from the airport! (7 miles). If you choose to rent a car, the condo is centrally located on the island making it easy to visit all parts of Kauai.

Thank you for letting me stay in your vacation rental, I had a blast. The last two times I visited Kauai I stayed in the newer complex across from safeway, which was very nice but it seemed to be a waste as I never hung out there and I never felt comfortable in the units. Your place has great neighbors, (Jim/James next door), and the people upstairs are very quite and only there at night. I enjoyed having a beer or two while in the chair upfront before dark, and enjoyed the cross breeze from having the doors open when I was inside. I got plenty of use out of one of the many mask/snorkel combos provided with your rental and I will not hesitate to use your place again on my next visit. They only thing I would add to your already well stocked place would be a couple of pint mugs for orange juice in the morning and beer at night. Thank you once again, I really enjoyed renting your place and I look forward to staying there again. GM
