It's your vacation so make the most of it. You could spend a lot more but you wouldn't do any better and you certainly get a lot less than renting directly from an owner. This is a beautiful two bedroom two bath condo in the heart of Destin. It has great balcony views of the beach and the nearby Destin Harbor. That's where the famous fishing fleet is based and in fact, one of our favorite things to do after a relaxing day on the beach is to visit the docks just as the fishing boats come in with the days catch. Just one of the many fun things to do in the area. The Pelican Beach is a self contained resort in itself with tennis courts, three pools, snack bar/restaurant and conference center, just to mention some of the amenities. Grocerys, restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance and that is a great feature of this location. We didn't forget the beach but everyone knows they are the best in the country and no walking across busy streets to get to the beautiful beach!

Our unit is located in the heart of Destin, close to everything. There is shopping, fishing, water sports including rental boats and water tours that offer Dolphin watching, sightseeing and sunset cruises. We are located in a great place to take walks or bike rides as well.

  • Beautiful views of the Gulf, beach and harbor from our 8th floor balcony. Directly across the street from the Big Kahuna Waterpark. Close to Restaurants, Shopping, Grocery store, Golf Courses, and fishing. Walk down the beach to the Back Porch Restaurant for a Cold Beer or something to eat. Watch the beautiful sunset from our balcony while sipping on you favorite beverage. Open the curtains in the Mater Bedroom when you wake up to watch the fishing fleet go out to catch their dinner for the week! You won't be disappointed with all the upgrades that we have done this year. The condo is absolutely beautiful if we don't say so ourselves. Just read our reviews and you will see.

We are located in the heart of Destin, directly across from the Big Kahuna Waterpark. Our building does not sit right on the beach but is beach side. Its a short 2 minute walk down a boardwalk to the beautiful white sandy beach. No streets to cross! Off our balcony you can enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Watch the fishing boats as they leave in the morning to possibly bring in a new record catch. Our rates are low compared to other condos due to there are no realty commissions that we have to pay.So take advantage of our low rates before March 15th and we will discount another 10%. Don't miss out!!!!!!

Great Condo and Vacation

This was our first family vacation to Florida and we really enjoyed it. The condominium was everything we expected and more. It was extremely comfortable (especially the king bed in the master bedroom), very well maintained and equiped with everything we needed. The location was very convenient and the views from the balcony were terrific. The kids really enjoyed the water park across the street and the Terrace pool but the beach was definitely the main attraction...very beautiful!

Thanks Don and MIchelle for being great hosts and making this vacation easy to plan. A return visit is definitely on our list!

We are originally from Destin FL but have moved away for a couple of years. We had to go to Destin for a wedding so decided it would be fun to stay on the beach. It was an excellent vacation. The two bedroom condo was beautiful with a wonderful view.

Wonderful Vacation!

This was our first vacation to Destin and we couldn't have been more pleased with everything! The condo was beautiful and we felt like we were at home with all the necessities we could ever need. The king bed in the master bedroom was wonderful as was the view from the balcony where we spent virtually every morning and evening.

Having chosen to vacation during the peak season (July 3-12) we were a bit nervous about the crowds but really didn't have any trouble. The beach was a little crowded but we never waited for a tram and had the opportunity to meet some really great people. Traffic was a bit scary at times and we concluded Hwy 98 could use a few more stoplights to help out! We spent most of the days relaxing at the beach and then at the terrace pool, which seems to get more direct sun and was less crowded than the main pool. We also spent several days at the Big Kahuna water park with our 5 year old daughter. As for the food, all the recommendations Don & Michelle provided were excellent! Especially the Key Lime pie from the Donut Hole - Yummmy!!

We had a great time and hope to return next year. Thanks for a great vacation! It was a pleasure renting from you both!!

We are glad you enjoyed your vacation with us. Sorry about the traffic but July 4th is the number one rental week in Destin so its about as full as it gets there.
We agree that they need to do something about the traffic on Hwy 98 but its only like that a couple of weeks out of the year.

A Relaxed Vacation at the Terrace........

This was my husband's as well as my mother's first time to visit Destin, Fl. I have convinced them both that Destin has the prettiest beaches. Michelle was great to answer all of our questions about the condo. The views from the condo are awesome, it was beautifully decorated, clean, & cozy...we did not won’t to leave!! We enjoyed the pool & hot tub at the Terrace. The short little walk to the Beach is not bad at all. We would set up at 7 am each morning on the Beach to get first row, then go back out around 10 and enjoy the rest of the day. The location of the condo is perfect! My husband loved that the Harbor was close by, each morning he got up to do a little fishing. It’s conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Some of our favorite restaurants we visited are: Louisiana Lagniappe, AJ’s, and the Donutt Hole.

This was a very relaxed vacation for all of us. Thanks Michelle and Don for opening your condo to us. We plan to come back next summer….

A Wonderful Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay in you condo! It was beautiful as was the weather while we were there. This was my first time renting a vacation condo, and the process was very easy. Michelle and Don were very easy to work with.
Our family enjoyed the beach and the pool. My 3 daughters especially loved the pool at the Terrace, since it was never crowded. I could have sat out on the balcony for hours. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The place was very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was there. The binder providing restaurant menus and area attractions were very helpful, as were your recommendations for restaurants.
Thanks so much! It was truly the relaxing vacation we needed. We will definitely be back! We absolutely love the area!
Owner's Response: We agree that the the pool at the terrace is the more relaxing of the 2 pools at the Pelican Beach Resort. That was one of the reasons that we decided to buy in that building other than the awesome view of the Gulf from our Balcony and Master Bedroom.
