Apartment, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bath, (Sleeps 1-4)

'Not Touristy'.

A real taste of Puerto Rico, a very safe,warm and friendly family block. Dead end street on top of the hill, overlooking mountains, farms, the Caribbean and ocean.

A 5-10 minute drive to all the beaches... at an affordable rate.

Rincon boasts some of the finest surfing in the world. Of course, the scuba and snorkeling is fantastic as well.

The unit has 3 Bedrooms(Sleeps 1-4), full kitchen and dining, BBQ and 2 Bath, is very comfortably furnished, has all the utilities you need for your stay, also has a lovely big private terrace with the view of the ocean and the mountains!

Longer stays can be negotiated.

Perfect getaway

My family and I stayed in Walter's apartment during Spring Break. It was perfect for what we needed. The location is away from the busy part of town but close enough to be where you need to in minutes. Walter also made sure we had detailed directions since the roads in Puerto Rico never match what ATT Gps says. The property was very accommodating, equipped with all the essentials. Walter and his family were inviting and made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed or told us where we could find it. Their son was adorable, he played with our boys for a while. He was very well mannered. I already want to come back.

A wonderful retreat

This beautiful mountain top provides a vast view of the blue sea while keeping you cool with salty breezes. Comfortable and clean this get away is perfect for couples but even better for families. Warm hospitality, a taste for the real Puerto Rico and a quick drive to all the amenities...food, drink and swim. As an artist the back porch provided the perfect place to paint early in the day or late into the night, and there is nothing like being around another artist to ignite creativity. We will be back, and thank you.

Owner's Response: Yes, we are located in a wonderful & beautiful local community in people and nature. It would be quite a loss during your stay, if we were not aware of our kind local neighbor or the stunningly changing scenery of the mountains and the ocean as we drive the country mountain roads. As this guest described, here, we can be away from the tourist traps or noise, but it is a convenient place as well. Because of the mountain top property, the ocean breeze cools us off all through the day. We are glad our unit inspired your creativity. Please visit us again!

Great Vacation in Rincon

I stayed there for 4 days with a couple of friends & had a great time. The owner gave written and verbal driving directions to the house: we had no trouble finding it: we recognized it immediately from the photos.
Since we arrived a tad early we had to wait about 10 minutes while the cleaning lady finished up.
We had everything we needed there, plus a very sweet and friendly neighbor, who knew the owner, took us to a couple of sights & gave us tips on restaurants. We had a great time & I have recommended to friends.

Great Vacation Experience

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here last fall. The house was clean and well situated on a hillside with impressive views and sunsets. It was just a short drive to Rincon as well as some terrific beaches. Overall, we highly recommend it.

Our third stay on the Mountain

This was our third stay on the mountain top, and this time we brought my 83 year old mother-in-law. Since our last stay, the owner has added an internet connection via wifi with a strong signal. Both my phone and computer linked fast and easily.
We enjoyed eating breakfast in the kitchen or outside. I renewed friendships with a few of the neighbors, and enjoyed discussing baseball and the Mets. Our days were spend at the local beaches and resturants. Everything we needed was right down in the town, only a few minuted away. At night we would read, or watch a film, or surf the web on our laptop.
Along with the view, we enjoy staying here and being absorbed into this authentic tiny community. That also includes the coqui's and roosters. This year we were visited by a few hummingbirds. We felt comfortable and safe and can't wait to return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
