The house sits on a large 1,600 sq. mt. corner lot and is within a 24hour security single family development which includes both first and second home users. The immediate area is rural, but there is a shopping center very close with a supermarket, pharmacy, movie rental store, and fast food outlets. There is a small beach just 2 minutes from the house. Across the street is Marina Puerto Del Rey. They have Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, fishing or sailing tours.The amenities in Fajardo are most close to each other and within 15 minutes driving time from the house. Seven Seas is a public beach adjacent to the fishing village (Las Croabas) where seafood restaurants are located and the entrance to the Lighhouse tour. The fishing village fronts a bay and kayak tours are available from this bay to the bioluminescent bay behind the mangroves. There are also small boats that can take you to nearby islands or cays.Very near the fishing bay is El Conquistador Resort & Cacino.

Beautiful home, just as advertised!

My husband and I spent a week at this home. Right from booking with Wanda she was very helpful. Originally, we had only booked 4 days there, and at the last minute she was able to accommodate us for 3 more, without extra deposit money needed. She called us the night before our flight to varify everything. She also sent us a great guide for hot spots to see. We called her as soon as we landed and she met us promptly at the airport, giving us the keys and detailed directions to the house. We arrived at the home and were so pleased. The house was absolutely beautiful and just as what was seen on her internet site! It was very clean. There were plenty of necessities for our stay. The pool and patio and the backyard were so breathtaking, and stunning and very private. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. We called her mid-week and she spent great amount of time answering our tourist questions and the ways of life for Puerto Rico. We absolutely were very, very happy with our vacation, and staying in Wanda's house made our whole vaction. She was so pleasant and helpful. Our deposit was returned back to us promptly, within 2 weeks, back to PayPal. We will return to this house everytime we vacation in Puerto Rico.

A little bit of paradise

The home is in a nice area. Quiet, peaceful, and private. It is a gated community and we felt very safe. The location is close to El Yunque, biobay tour, also just minutes to the marina where you can find snorkeling and other excursions to the islands. We had plenty to do that was close by. San Juan is 45 minutes or more, depending on traffic. The home itsself was nice, spacious, relaxing. Very convenient to have a washer and dryer, soap was provided. The jacuzzi tub was not working when we were there and the home could use a little tlc, but overall a great place.The landscaping is gorgeous, definitely inviting outdoor living space. Great view of the mountains. The owner was very accomadating and returned all my calls. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful vacation home

This home is a beautiful place for your vacation. It is located in a nice area. It is great for a family with kids. We enjoyed the pool very much. It is in a gated community. The only downside we have is that we rented the home in mid September and we have yet to receive our deposit back from the owner. Several attempts have been made to contact the owner via email and phone and we have yet to get any response. We would never recommend this vacation home to our friends or family due to the experience we are having now.

Secluded Paradise

We enjoyed our stay at this house very much. It was clean and has everything you need to make your stay pleasant with added privacy -- the description and photos are pretty accurate. The views are spectacular, especially at night when the stars are out twinkling with the sounds of the Coqui as background, which is pretty much all you hear, it is very quiet. You can lounge by the pool all day and do nothing, or take a drive to the area stores, restaurants and some attractions that are within a short distance by car. You can also make a day of it and drive to San Juan or the Rain Forest which are easily accessible by the area roads. We drove almost daily to Luquillo to enjoy lunch or dinner from the numerous food shacks "kioskos" by the beach. We had a few amenities in the house we couldn't figure out after we arrived but if you ensure that the owner explains everything to you, leaves written directions or is available by phone, you should have no major problems and a vacation to remember.

Home away from home

This is a very spacious clean home with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The bed & bath are arranged so they can be sectioned off by closing a door (keeping the air-conditioning in the bedrooms), leaving a kitchen, dining & a very large living area open for entertaining or just being together with your family(these rooms were cooled by 2 ceiling fans and 3 sliding glass doors). There were 3 of us my husband, myself, & our 19 year old daughter. Our daughter's favorite area was the pool and the lanai. The lanai was gorgeous with the view overlooking the rolling hillside with pastel colored homes painted up one hillside. Flowers were in bloom everywhere, bougainvillea & flowering tree tops with names I do not know, made this home so romantic. There are 2 fans plus the trade winds that keep this area very comfortable. The home is very nice & we will stay again in a heartbeat. The owner is always just a phone call away & always answered our every need. The location of this home is very centrally located. The bioluminesint bay, snorkeling, scuba and El Yunque are all just minutes away. I will tell all my friends to stay here when traveling to Puerto Rico!
