Refunds are done through PayPal and can take 1 to 2 weeks for you to receive the payment via mail.

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Furnishings were very nice and the place was new and clean. It was a little further from the lake than we realized, and there was not a sandy beach area with lounge chairs like in the Hollows pictures, but the Hollows pool area is beautiful and we enjoyed many margaritas at the pool and swimming with the kids. We also had a good experience with boat rental from DayBreak- they brought the boat right over to the marina. A nice place for a relaxing family vacation. Thank you!
Owner's Response: The sandy beach is next to the Amphitheatre behind the beach club. If the chairs were not up, then the lake level probably wasn't high enough. Just as many lakes, Lake Travis can be quite full at times and othertimes it may be low.
Also, I explain the 3 minute drive to the marina from the villa when booking the property.

The best advice I can give is to call and have any concerns answered before booking so you can have the best experience out of your vacation.

Glad you enjoyed the stay, & I sincerely apologize if you felt the above wasn't explained enough.

Stay at Lake Travis villa

My family of 4 visited Lake Travis resort in mid-August. The resort is clean and well-maintained-in fact less than 5 years old. The villa was clean. Directions need to be updated to resort, as Austin is growing with new roads.
There is swimming and kayaking on the property. A car is needed to go anywhere with family. For older kids-there is not alot to do, There are activities outside the property including horse-back riding in the area. We ate one night at a restaurant 20 miles from the property-it was great. There are not many restaurants near the site.
Overall-I would recommend it-but guests need to be aware of what is available on-site.
The property was well-maintained-even had a washer and dryer. It also has satellite tv and a x-box with games.
I would recommend this property to a friend. I would also stay again-going with some ideas of what to do outside the property.

The 183 freeway has a new toll road. Drivers can use either, which is listed on the directions, although I will double check to make sure I have the directions accurate.

Yes, I agree a car is definately needed. The Hollows is a large resort community.

For older children, there is swimming, hiking/biking on the trials, kayaking, sand volleyball, group fishing (when listed as a Hollows activity), boat rentals through Daybreak Boat Rentals (which drop boat off at The Hollows marina for your convenience), parasailing through Airscape Parasail (they pick you up at The Hollows marina for your convenience) or even offsite Volente Beach Waterpark is only minutes away.

All activities within The Hollows and the surrounding area are listed inside a large packet mailed to guests after they book.

Could Not Get Enough the First Time

The first trip was with the family where we enjoyed the evenings on the balcony over looking the beautiful hill country. The beds are wonderful...better than Hilton's. We had plenty of room for the family of 5 to spread out and no fighting over the bathrooms. The guys enjoyed hill training on their bikes and boating. Girls soaked up the sun on the boat then returned to condo to watched chick flicks.

Second visit was a girls get away! We love the walking trails and pool. Very quiet and relaxing. We will be back for a third visit soon.
