Stay at Lake Travis villa

My family of 4 visited Lake Travis resort in mid-August. The resort is clean and well-maintained-in fact less than 5 years old. The villa was clean. Directions need to be updated to resort, as Austin is growing with new roads.
There is swimming and kayaking on the property. A car is needed to go anywhere with family. For older kids-there is not alot to do, There are activities outside the property including horse-back riding in the area. We ate one night at a restaurant 20 miles from the property-it was great. There are not many restaurants near the site.
Overall-I would recommend it-but guests need to be aware of what is available on-site.
The property was well-maintained-even had a washer and dryer. It also has satellite tv and a x-box with games.
I would recommend this property to a friend. I would also stay again-going with some ideas of what to do outside the property.

The 183 freeway has a new toll road. Drivers can use either, which is listed on the directions, although I will double check to make sure I have the directions accurate.
Yes, I agree a car is definately needed. The Hollows is a large resort community.
For older children, there is swimming, hiking/biking on the trials, kayaking, sand volleyball, group fishing (when listed as a Hollows activity), boat rentals through Daybreak Boat Rentals (which drop boat off at The Hollows marina for your convenience), parasailing through Airscape Parasail (they pick you up at The Hollows marina for your convenience) or even offsite Volente Beach Waterpark is only minutes away.
All activities within The Hollows and the surrounding area are listed inside a large packet mailed to guests after they book.
