We booked this condo for a week in Jan/Feb to give ourselves a break from the UK winter in the Florida sunshine. We have been to Orlando before and stopped in hotels - this was out first time in a condo.
The booking process was very smooth - Alan couldn't have been more helpful answering pre-booking questions. The information provided during the booking process and prior to arrival at the condo was great.
Upon arriving at the condo we were delighted to find that it was exactly as described and shown on the website. In fact, it is actually bigger than the photos show. We were very pleased with the facilities and equipment included at the condo - there wasn't anything that we felt was missing. It was great to be able to do all the washing before we went home!
Location-wise the condo is great - handy for the airport, Disney, other theme parks and shopping. The are plenty of restaurants close-by and two Walmarts within a 5-10 minute drive. Cane Island is a lovely, generally quiet complex and we found the neighbours to be pleasant and friendly - we certainly felt safe staying there. We didn't use the pool, clubhouse or other facilities on this occasion but they all looked great.
One of our party had an unfortunate incident with a Segway which meant that he needed a stay in hospital :( This resulted in us having to stay in Orlando longer than we'd planned. Unfortunately, Alan's condo wasn't available as it was already booked to someone else. However, Alan was very helpful and emailed other owners and letting agencies that own/rent Cane Island properties. This meant that we were able to move to another condo which made things much easier than having to move to a hotel. Thanks Alan!
All in all, we would thoroughly recommend this condo and will certainly be booking up again soon - no Segways this time though!! :-)
