Miles & miles of hiking, walking, snowmobile, horseback riding, ORV trails, & more.

Hale, Michigan is about 2 & 1/2 hours north of Detroit in lower NORTHEAST MICHIGAN n Losco, county and it is the gateway to over 600,000 acres of the Huron National Forest, the Mighty AuSable River, Rifle River, sixty lakes area, and 1000's of miles of hiking, biking, ORV, horse, snowmobile & cross country ski trails!
There are 60 lakes within 60 miles, hence the 'sixty lakes' area! Add all the lakes with the many rivers and streams and we have a fisherman's dream!
Activities include swimming, boating, water skiing, canoeing, hunting, fishing, golfing, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hiking, road biking, snowmobiling, picnicking, camping, bird & wildlife watching, & so on.
You'll enjoy one of the absolutely best lake views available on this approx. 500 acre, spring fed, all sports lake! There are lots of pines... Lots of fresh air... Lots of blue sky.

We have a very clean 16 foot pontoon boat avaiable for rent. Also 2 Yamaha III Waverunners are available for rent. We have a nice aluminum paddle boat that you are welcome to use at no charge.
ANOTHER RENTAL HOME IN HALE ON THIS SITE SAYS IT HAS BEAUTIFUL VIEWS - I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT THEY DO NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE LAKEFRONT VIEWS AT OUR HOME - NO COMPARISION!!!! DON'T BE FOOLED!
