Do you enjoy golf, hiking or long walks, horseback riding, reading, photography, writing or just getting away from it all? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, Grand View Chalet is the place. At an elevation of 3100 feet, the view is magnificent (four wheel vehicles recommended for winter driving). Relax on a tree-shaded deck with a day of lazy reading, a soak in the hot tub or a night under the stars. Grand View Chalet: minutes away from the Maggie Valley Club clubhouse and first tee, nice walks, hikes, waterfalls, Lake Junaluska, great restaurants, the famous Ghost Town in the Sky, White Water Rafting, Fantasy Golf, and Cataloochee Ski Resort among many other attractions. Also, close to grocery stores, places of worship and the hospital. Waynesville, a quaint town 5 miles away, has great cultural events, restaurants, shopping, and is a great place to visit. Take a short day trip to Asheville to see the famous Biltmore House or try your luck at Cherokee Casino.

Ghost Town: It opens in May and is just down the road a few miles away.

Waynesville, NC: While Maggie Valley offers many good restaurants and great shopping, Waynesville is just a few (about 5) miles away and adds even more fine restaurants and excellent shopping.

Our stay at this property (Grand View Chalet) was everything we hoped it would be. The chalet was in beautiful condition with every comfort and convenience you could want.

The view was exactly as shown in the pictures on the web site - absolutely wonderful!

The owners of the chalet were always available for any questions and were very friendly and reliable. We even received our deposit almost before we arrived home!!

We would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return!
