Beautiful log cabin located on Hot House Creek with 150’ of water frontage. Hot House Creek is 20’ wide and stocked annually with Rainbow Trout. Enjoy catching fish right from our back yard, or go tubing on the Toccoa River. Looking for something more relaxing, jump into the hot tub on the lower deck and listen to the quiet rapids of the creek. The cabin is just 12 miles (20 minutes) from whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, home of the 1996 Olympics, and 12 miles from downtown Blue Ridge where you can catch the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to Copperhill, Tennessee. Take a ride to Lake Blue Ridge where you can rent a boat for the day from the marina. The area has endless activities, restaurants, boutiques, and antique stores. Spend the evenings in the family room either watching the 60 in. TV, playing foosball, playing board games, or step out to the deck and relax in the hot tub.

The cabin is located just 100 miles from Atlanta, 51 miles from Helen GA, 77 miles from Chattanooga TN, and 125 miles from Gatlinburg TN. The property is located just outside of the NW corner of Blue Ridge off Hwy 60 next to the tubing and white water rafting companies. Blue Ridge is located in Fannin County, Georgia and is known as the Gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains. People from Atlanta, Chattanooga and the entire Southeastern United States think of Fannin County, Georgia as the place to start their Blue Ridge Mountain vacation because of the multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities, the excellent restaurants and easy access to the mountains thanks to the Georgia Mountain Parkway.

In case of shorter time reservation, deposit must be included in your total payment. We will work with you on payment terms if needed.
  • Cancellation Policy
    31 days or more before scheduled check-in date: 100% Refund of deposit (minus a $25 processing fee if booked by credit card to cover merchant fees). Less than 31 days prior to arrive, deposit will be forfeited.

Cabin Overview: The main entrance into the house is into the main living room area. The master bedroom is located upstairs with it's own private bath. It also has a private balcony which looks out onto spectacular views and Hot House Creek. Outside the master bedroom, you also have a loft area which looks out onto the living room on the main level. The second bedroom also has its own private bath, and is located on the main level. The main level of the house also includes the kitchen and dining room area, and has a full balcony looking out onto the creek with lots of entertaining area. The third bedroom is located downstairs with the third private bath. The lower level also has a laundry room with washer/dryer, and the family/game room. This family/game room contains a 60 in. Theater view TV, a Foosball table, and a game room style basketball game. This area walks out onto the third balcony which contains a hot tub, and a walk out patio area with magnificent landscaping and an outdoor fire pit.

We didn't want to leave

We consisted of three couples wanting to get away and this cabin is exactly what we needed. It was nice to be able to get out and walk and just enjoy the scenary. We did lots of hiking, reading, hot tubing, eating, and just relaxing. We especially liked that everyone had their own bedroom with private bath and the layout of the cabin privided each couple with lots of privacy. The cabin was well stocked with everything that we could possible need and very clean. We really did not want to leave. Thank you very much for sharing your cabin with us, we'll be back.

Beautiful & Peaceful

This cabin is spacious, fully equiped inside and out. A great place to relax, take walks, fish and just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The listing was as described except, we thought that by the pictures the creek was quite a bit bigger and we thought it would have been closer to the cabin than it was. Other than that we had a great time. I would highly recommend this cabin to a friend.

Great location, space and amenities!

A group of three couples came down to the cabin this weekend and had a wonderful time. It was very convenient for all of us to have our own bed and bath. The wireless access was great to have and the 60 inch screen tv was super for watching football games. We also enjoyed a few rounds of foosball. Hope to come back same time next year.

Fantastic Cabin

We loved the three levels in this cabin. Each level has its own tastefully decorated bedroom with bathroom. Having two teenage girls, it gave alot of privacy. It would be great for three couples. It was well stocked with all the necessities, including the kitchen. We grilled quite abit, and was disappointed with the location of the grill. We had rain four days and it is quite hot in the month of august, no shelter or shade. Also it is by the driveway area so no chairs, or area to sit and enjoy. I do have to recommend the pit area in the back of the cabin. We had bonfires, made smores and roasted hotdogs. This area also has a hammock and hot tub. The hot tub is one of the best I have been in, soooo relaxing. There are stairs from this area to the creek, its quite a few stairs and across a dirt road. It was a bit further than we thought. We did not have much luck fishing, a couple very small trout. My daughter and husband really hoped to do some serious fishing. It is a nice secluded area, lots of hummingbirds off the balcony with the sound of the creek . I loved the mornings on the very large deck with a cup of coffee and the serenity of nature. It was my dogs favorite part of the day also. Things I would recommend in the area. Ocoee rafting in Ducktown (20 min. away) was the highlight. Shopping in Blue Ridge, especially lunch at the Victorian House, great food and fun trying on old hats and stoles, props to help the ambience. Also a trip to Helen (51 miles away). It is a replica of a bavarian town, nice shops and restaurants. Again I would recommend this beautifully decorated cabin, we have such wonderful memories from our trip. PS. the wireless internet was great, it went out once for a brief time.
