This luxury villa is just 50kms east of Malaga in the idyllic setting of El Capistrano village, Nerja. Casa Noreen is close to both the typical little fishing town of Nerja and the delightful Burriana Beach. Casa Noreen is a charming traditional Andalucian style family home with air conditioning in all three bedrooms. The spacious dining room and sitting room open onto a large terrace for outdoor eating. From the terrace there are steps down to a small private garden. A superb swimming pool is about 20 yards from the garden gate.

Just 50km East of Malaga is the idyllic setting of El Capistrano, just 1km from Nerja. Situated between the magnificent backdrop of the Sierra Almijar mountains and the Mediterranean, this village, built in the local Andalusian style, is perfectly positioned along one of the unspoiled stretches of the Costa del Sol. Our villa is situated in this luxury development with its glorious gardens of jasmine, oleander, hibiscus and bougainvillea. There are two magnificent swimming pools surrounded by cypress, olive and palm trees. There are many interesting places to visit -the prehistoric Nerja Caves; the mountain villages of Competa and Frigliana and the fabulous Alhambra in Granada.

Both bathrooms have baths with overhead showers and very attractive mirrors with cupboards with especially good lighting. There is also a separate WC downstairs.

The third bedroom with a bathroom en suite opens out on to the garden. The bedrooms upstairs have lovely balconies with wonderful views of he sea. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. There are stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs which makes the villa very safe for small children.

Notes: There are two beautiful swimming pools in El Capistrano as well as a supermarket, restaurant and money exchange. Beside the swimming pool very close to our villa our two small pools suitable for young children. There are plenty of water sports on the Burriana Beach and other beautiful beaches nearby where you can snorkel. There are two golf courses - one 20 minutes away and the other 30 minutes away. There is skiing in Sol y Nieve about under 2 hours drive away and sightseeing in fabulous Granada only one and a half hours away. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Mosquito netting throughout. Secure garden for children. Awning over main balcony. There is a safe for valuables. Satellite TV including Sky Sports There is a tennis club at the entrance of the village where you can rent courts by the hour. Maid service and change of sheets and towels are provided half way through a 2 week rental.

Casa Noreen:: The villa has three twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor there are two large bedrooms and one bathroom. The third bedroom with bathroom is reached from the charming garden. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and the third bedroom has also an overhead fan. There is a hall, cloakroom with toilet and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. A spacious dining room and a good sized sitting room open onto the terrace.

Nerja:: The typical old Spanish town of Nerja is about 20 minutes away on foot. Nerja is a small busy little fishing town where there is a delightful selection of shops and boutiques selling groceries, jewelery and inexpensive leather ware. There is a very good choice of all types of restaurants which run from small family run restaurants to the best cuisine.

Activities:: There are two beautiful swimming pools in El Capistrano as well as a small supermarket, restaurant and money exchange. There is a tennis club at the entrance of the village about five minutes walk from the villa. There are plenty of watersports on the Burriana Beach and other delightful beaches nearby where one can also snorkel. There are two golf courses Anoreta and Los Moriscos about 30 minutes drive away. There is skiing in Sol y Nieve about two hours drive away and sightseeing in fabulous Granada only one and a half hours away.

Very enjoyable family holiday in October 2008

I have a wife and two young children and we had a great holiday in this villa. We felt this villa was most suitable as it is spacious, clean and attractive - as well as being convenient to the swimming pools, and a supermarket. We also really liked the scenic area where the villa was located, and it is only a short walk into the nearby town, Nerja. Nerja has lovely restaurants, and all the family enjoyed going to the beautiful beach, which is five minutes drive away.

Great Villa in Excellent Location

We stayed in this lovely villa in late September and found it well maintained in a great location, positioned between the delights of Nerja and beautiful beaches to the west. It was exactly as described and I would stronghly recommend it to friends as a great family holiday.

great long wekekend in Nerja

We had a wonderful weekend in may. It was a girls' long weekend and the villa suited us perfectly. plenty of speace, well equipped, clsoe to the pool and private for sunbathing. It was easy to get to the bars and restaurants of the town either walking or by taxi which are readily available.
I had the fun of staying in the room that leads onto the pretty garden which was very comfortable and private.

Highly recommended - in fact we hope to go back again next year.

Casa Noreen came up to expectations and more. It is a most comfortable family villa which we appreciated. It is very spacious and airy. We loved having meals outside on the pretty patio with the scent of jasmine in the air. The bedrooms are all most comfortable.

It is situared in a convenient spot as we could walk to pick up groceries and restaurants are a step away. We loved the beaches nearby. It is so easy to travel to beauty spots of interest or to drive to many golf courses in the vicinity.

We look forward to returning soon.

We had a great holiday in Casa Noreen in May this year, El Capistrano is so pretty (masses of flowers set against whitewashed walls) and so carefully looked after, it was a pleasure to sit back and take it all in. The house is right beside the pools, with a gate from the garden opening very close to the children's pool and very handy for the well stocked little shop (great if you need more croissants in the middle of breakfast!).

We walked into Nerja most evenings for supper - great choice of restaurants - several near the Balcon with stunning sea views - its a 15 minute down hill walk in and we usually got a taxi back for €5. (We also discovered we could get a taxi in minutes by ordering for €1 from the little bar in El Capistrano).

We also went to the beach nearby - very relaxing with the children - big beach, playground, lots of casual child friendly restaurants and the fabulous AYO's, serving amazing paella.

The house is very well equiped. Both bedrooms upstairs are very spacious with lots of storage and share a good bathroom with very pretty Spanish tiles. The kitchen has all mod cons including the essential dishwasher. There is a good dining room but we ate outside. The third bedroom is off the garden which gives it good privacy and it has its own good bathroom. This suited us very well and we also found the owner to be most charming and helpful with lots of great suggestions when we asked about a special restaurant for a birthday celebration. I would definitely think of going back for a return stay.
