A Natural Paradise, secluded on two connecting private lakes and surrounded by four hundred acres of woods and mountains, the crystal-clear waters of Sheltered Lakes provide excellent fishing for rainbow, brown and speckled trout as well as bass and perch. It is the home of birds like the Blue Heron, Eagle and Osprey and the refuge of deer, otter and beaver. The private cottage is on the water, with its own unique lake view. The cottage has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, fireplace, one bedroom, screened porch, outdoor grill, picnic table and rowboats. A canoe is also available. You can just relax and enjoy the view from wherever you are; or you can explore, swim, hike, boat, or canoe. Our base rates are for up to four people, but the cottage can accommodate larger families. During the off season, we rent Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday, with full weeks beginning and ending on those days. During the summer, we rent only full weeks beginning and ending on Saturday.

We are located on secluded Sheltered Lakes in the Adirondacks - about 75 miles north of Albany, NY and 35 miles north of Saratoga Springs, NY. Most visitors want to escape all the tourist attractions, but if you'd enjoy a day in the town, Lake George Village is not far.
